Best way to time this: Take the time you get up in the morning. Add 3 hours. This is the time you should try to start your KotR. In two days, the single elimination rounds will begin the hour after you wake up.

Example: I wake up at 7AM. I start a KotR at 10AM on Tuesday. The first round of single elimination begins at 8AM Thursday, giving me that first hour of being awake to make sure that I have my team properly set up and energized.

Then if even one matchup goes the full 3 games, the semi-finals start at 11AM, and the finals at 2PM. If I'm in the finals, I will get my rewards at either 4 or 5PM - depending on whether it goes 2 or 3 games. The absolute shortest time I would get my cards would be 1PM if EVERY match is a 2-0 sweep.

Almost made a massive balls up by dropping my strongest cards to the bench to recharge as I'd already qualified with 7-8 matches to go...then I went to a gig and did t have wifi. Started the Quarter Final with my worn out, weaker cards. Lost the first game but managed to change my line-up and kicked out to win 2-1. Then lost the Semi when asleep. Picked up an UR Mysterio.

Beat my Ultra Rare Maxed Out Pro Lesnar once..I was like wtf? My lesnar had only lost to a couple epic and legendary cards.

I just sort of finished a kotr..I'm in the finals and don't really care if I get a SR support card or not, was just happy to guarantee a pair of UR cards. I need a pro card to replace my plain UR JBL that always loses.

I wish the cards you pick would move up as you advance... like, now that I am in the Ultra Rare level, I wish Super Rare cards would be easier to get. How am I supposed to catch 'em all if you never pick them up?

Yeah, the whole thing seems a little strange to me, too...since jumping to SR+, I’ve had probably 2 SR cards from picks and not “Ladder Reward” SR cards. Seems crazy to me that of the active male wrestler cards I’ve currently got going for Exhibition, my fucking Rare level max pro Batista has the best fucking stats with everyone else @ SR being way lower in the stats departments...I keep hoping to get some SR dupes (Ryback, Sandow, Sheamus, A.J.) from Exhibition as SR++ is supposed to mean the highest possible chances to draw SR cards from Exhibition games...wish they’d find a way to rebalance that too...yes, Rare level cards are good for training up my active wrestlers, but 4 out of the 5 I have active are maxed, and my Sandow is at 20/25...at this rate, I’m starting to think I’ll never advance to UR. :(

And if you want better cards do the KOTR constantly, you get a half decent card if you fail to qualify and the chance of two decent ones if you do, I'm Legendary+ and I've only done around 4500 games, most of my better cards came that way.

I dunno...KOTR seems like just such a huge, massive time and effort investment that it hardly seems worth it...takes FOREVER just for the qualifying matches to wrap up, not to mention you have to micromanage between your fatigued guys and your “bench players” who need to be put in every so often to allow the starters to regen their stamina...I dunno, may have to, but for now I’m just going to stick to Exhibition for the moment.

Exactly, once you've accumulated and trained enough cards, KOTR is fairly easy.... I can qualify without any Energy cards as long as I swap out my bench entirely every 4-5 games....the key is to have 10 good cards and as soon as you get one better, use your worst to train it right away.... just used a UR Ted DiBiase (from my bench) to train an Epic Ultimate Warrior (now a starter bumping my Pro UR Eddie Guerrero to the bench)

Ever since utilizing KOTR @ Epic level to try and job out of it has worked for me. I was going to farm the Ultra Rare cards you get from not qualifying, but I found myself winning quite a bit and finding what little time I had to switch the lineups out. It's a great game for me as I currently spend a whole lot of time with my baby daughter and she likes to watch cards battle each other.

Full House strat? I'm not sure of what entails, but I noticed a weird trend of higher up players having one gray with their epic/leg stacked lineups. I was wondering if that helped them or they were being nice and thought that other Champions could get at least one victory over them.

That's what it is. Some players will replace two superstars with commons, keeping their 2 best in the deck (usually two that will be good for a tag team match) and their most powerful diva. What this does is lowers the tier in which they'll compete, making wins easier to come by. What I did with People's Champ is 1 Common superstar and 1 common diva. I played only 5 point matches and had an 80-90% success rate.

Some people use this strategy in KotR but I wouldn't suggest it if you actually want to go all the way to the finals.

Yeah, base cards at any rarity are too often bested by max ✭ cards 2 rarity levels below...for example, as you may have seen I posted yesterday:

The deck rarity and card balancing systems are fucked 32,784 ways to Sunday and they sorely need to improve the drop rate for exhibition according to people's deck levels, i.e. receiving SR cards more often when one's deck rarity is SR to SR++. So angry, I actually revised my review on Google Play from ✭✭✭✭ to ✭ and explained about this and an apparently frighteningly common problem with the game freezing up people's phones and other mobile devices and causing them to have to restart their devices. Not sure how often I'll continue to play if these issues aren't rectified soon.

This checks out. It took 3-5 minutes of shaky starts, but once I put my 2 commons in the Tag match I was rolling in the victory.

The setup is not always favorable. It's not a guaranteed win, but my Epic cards put up a fight and the Diva division cannot contain AJ Lee, not even the powerful Epic Stephanie McMahon card

I've adopted the strategy and it's working pretty well. I win the vast majority of the 5 point games. My current line up is Maxed UR Pro Jake Roberts and Macho Man, Maxed UR Miz and the others are jobbers. So far ranked around the 5k mark after I went to bed.

It's pretty widely known that most max ✭ cards one level below an untrained card of the same superstar is almost always guaranteed to win a one-on-one match.

UR untrained Sheamus stats: P - 161 T - 158 S - 144 C - 163, and even if the two selected stats were P & C for a one on one, UR untrained Sheamus card would only be @ P - 178, C - 180, whereas

R max ✭ Batista stats: P - 202 T - 197 S - 170 C - 197

Even with a UR utility card that boosted an untrained UR Sheamus' P & C stats, it probably still wouldn't be enough to win the one-on-one battle listed above.

So, yeah, there's a good reason why I've got him set as champion of my current active deck...no other of my active cards, all SR, have had a second one for me to max out from Exhibition. Finally starting to move towards UR from SR++ thanks to my replacing SR Sandow with SR Ladder Reward Cena once I had Sandow beaten by Cena easily enough in all 4 stats. I did check and make sure he was the weakest of the 4 guys before swapping him out.

SR Cena is maxed and will have to wait until I get the 2nd SR Ladder Reward Cena and max him and combine them both. The resulting card, based on a screenshot of untrained SR Pro Ladder Reward Cena will match my champion R MAX PRO Batista @ 202 PWR, and either match or be just a point or two over/under his CHA. I figure hopefully by the time I have SR untrained Ladder Reward PRO Cena I should be into UR, or if not, definitely sometime between 0/30 SR Ladder Reward Pro Cena and 30/30. Would be completely befuddled if this doesn't prove to be the case.

I've got 353 matches to hit 1,200, which is where the 2nd SR Ladder Reward Cena is given.

Latest news is I picked up a SR Mysterio and maxed him out. Was actually shocked to find that he's slightly better than max SR Sheamus, but swapped him out for Rey (even despite the slight POW stat decrease) because I've been needing an awesome guy for Speed matches. Am about 67 matches away from SR Cena #2 @ 1200 matches and also, after what felt like forever with two R utility/buff-debuff cards, finally got a SR Manager Lana that grants +10 POW.

Hopefully it all means I'll jump up to UR soon.

He's at like 6/30 and already better than Rey, but I want to make sure I get the speed attribute to more than 202, which is SR Rey's speed...also finally maxed out 2nd SR Cena, combined them and trained the pro card to half, or 15/30, and just a few matches before hitting UR deck tier drew a SR Mr. McMahon, so it's been a pretty fucking amazing day.

Also, a message about the new game mode popped up. It's called Road to Glory and you "face off against Sting and many more". You can play from Thursday.

Road to Glory Basics: In a Road to Glory event, players begin at the Common rarity level and take on a series of increasingly difficult WWE Superstars. They will choose from a list of opponents with varying difficulties and whose decks have the rating of the Superstars. Each Road to Glory game uses a deck consisting of 22 cards (16 Superstars, four Divas and two Support) for both the player and opponent. A round begins when four cards are dealt to both the player and opponent. Players select cards they would like to play, and the highest stat total wins and gains a point. The player with the most points after four rounds wins the game;

• Road to Glory Rewards: The winning player of each Road to Glory game receives points toward defeating the Superstar and six board picks, while losing players receive no points and three board picks. After a player gains the required points to defeat a Superstar, he or she is awarded a card at the rarity level of that Superstar, as well as progression to move forward and face a Superstar at the next rarity level. The further along the Road to Glory players get in the limited window of time, the more gratifying the rewards;

• Enter the Ring with Bouts: Players use Bouts to play Road to Glory matches. A player can hold up to five Bouts at one time. Once spent, a Bout regenerates every 15 minutes. A player may also purchase either a single Bout or a full refill of Bouts;

• Titles Matches: Title Matches are used to increase the number of points you win in a match, just like in People’s Champion Challenges. You can now hold up to 250 Title Matches. There are 4 different packs of Title Matches available for purchase.

• Tag Team Diva Matches: Divas tag team matches have arrived and also appear in Road to Glory matches. Divas will also now form alliances and have tag team preferences on their cards;

• Higher Card Limits: Road to Glory raises a player’s overall card limit to 120 cards;

• First Event: Sting leads off the the first Road to Glory event beginning December 23rd with the Pre-Game. Pre-game will show you the rewards available and give you time to setup your Road to Glory deck. You can begin playing on December25th. The event will end at 6pm, PST on December 28th.

Got my Epic Brie and now slowly working on Rowan. The difficulty has been ramped up now and lost a couple of 5 pointers and drawn loads of them. Only having single epic cards is killing me, thankfully my disastrous KOTR is finishing soon so will play around with my selection to hopefully get some more epic cards that I can get some epic pros.

Getting to Sting would have taken a real solid 20 card deck plus playing constantly and either paying for title matches or getting lucky on the draw. I only drew 2 title matches and it took me 3 days to get through Cena. My deck was also pretty lousy.

Got Rowan and with just over an hour ago I've given up on getting Sting. I've been playing around with my deck and handicapped myself much like you do with PC,s and the matches were easier, I won a number of 5 point matches this way, whereas before I was struggling when nearing the 155 mark for Rowan. Didn't think that would work with this mode but will know for next time.

Some things I noticed about the new mode:

Even if you have to drop down a level, it's worth it overall to get as many cards as possible to either "blue" or "yellow". That +10% or no change versus -5% is HUGE when you have little control over which cards come out each deal. After 5 or 6 games at the 3-point level where I completely dominated, I bumped up to the 5-point and still never lost a match (Granted, I didn't get to play as much as I would have liked and only made it into the UR level, but I feel this is still the way to go as long as possible to get through those early levels quickly).

Using a support card that gives your deck a + (such as Paul Bearer) counts for the duration of the matchup, not just the "current" 4 cards.
