Pretty much I'm just talking between JR, Austin and Jericho.
Jericho is BY FAR the better interviewer of the three. I like all three of them for different reasons, but Austin is a lot of schtick and quite repetitive, but he is still good times and seems relatable. JR is awesome in his own right, but he gets a little monotonous, and long winded, but he is pretty much my uncle figure from the late 90s and early two thousands so I have tons of time for him.
Jericho's opening segments are fucking absolutely brutal though. I fast forward through them because they are cringeworthy but really he is just having fun, then once he gets to the interview portion you can tell how smart and well thought out his style is, as well as quite professional. He has the most "real talks" with the wrestlers. His interviews with Bautista, HHH and the Hardyz recently are better than anything Austin and JR have done.
I know everyone loves Colt Cabana and I don't mind his podcast but he's kind of blah and never "made it" in the big time, although I respect him for the success he's had, it doesn't give him the same cred so I don't count him in this. Also I haven't listened to Roddy Piper but I'll throw him in the poll, though I could see his podcast being a mess because he himself is kind of a mess.

Austin has come a long way in terms of his interviews, hes started to ask the right follow up questions, though I didn't listen to him for over a month because of the Russo and Bischoff interviews.
JR is usually solid, but Jericho's so far is the best of the 3. He makes it more of a conversation rather than question and answer

Yeah legit could not give a fuck about what Russo or bischoff have to say about anything.

Yeah, both guys love to recreate the past to shift blame away from themselves, no interest in hearing how David Arquette winning the title caused WCW to win the ratings wars then the powers that be fired Russo because he was so interesting and were jealous of his girth.

At least with Heyman he is like the ultimate talker of all time, so even when he's fabricating horrifically it is super entertaining and passionate, and he essentially is always cutting promos, whereas those two are full of shit and not really anything special as communicators. Both were decent promos don't get me wrong, but Paul is on a whole different spectrum.

Paul will weave in a bit of truth into his stories, I did love the Edge and Jericho podcast he did

I hate Austins format, commercials are too long end up fast forwarding them.

Jim Ross. I enjoy his guests more and Stone Cold's schtick gets old fast.

Only listened to Stone Cold and Jericho's podcasts out of the bunch but liked Jericho's more overall.
Getting really fed up with JR's show. Same topics every week.
Roman Reigns' climb to the top
TNA and their TV deal
The lost art of selling
Commentators not being allowed to call play-by-play
Using superstars to promote the Network
Reflection on the "good ol' days"

His Stan Hansen interview was awesome. I like JR's reflection on the gold ol days.
I wasn't quite clear on that. It's great to hear about, and reflect about the way the business was 40 years ago, it's another thing to talk at great length about how today's business should be the same as it was then. On every episode.

I love JRs the most, but Austin's is the only one I can listen to when he is doing non-wrestling shows. Jericho is very hit & miss for me. Austin is comedy gold, JR is pure wrestling gold, and I listen to Jericho's for the guests moreso than for him.

He's like Cornette in that way.

I wish Cornette's didn't have that annoying woman or I would listen to his more.

While on MLW Radio network, everyone should listen to Talkin Shop

All of them I only listen if they have on a guest I am interested in.
Austin is good when he is talking wrestling.
Jericho is very hit or miss.
JR is OK. But seems to be stuck in a rut.

JR's is the only one worth a listen unless you like the train wreck that is austin's interviews

Not that I'm biased, but def Jericho's

Court Bauer's podcast is awesome. He did a couple with Kevin Sullivan that far surpass anything that Ross and Stone Cold have done. Kevin Sullivan is such a great fucking interview. The stories he has from Florida are amazing.

My opinion, in order.
Jericho.
Austin.
Jim Ross.
Hate it when Jim Ross phones in his "HELLO EVERYBODY!" shtick.

JR did a pretty good interview with Magnum BAH GAWD TA. Got a little heavy handed a points but was still damned interesting.

Yeah I thought it was really good as well.
Aside from the usual harping on about "telling a story in ring", selling, the heels always having to cheat to win, etc. it was a really great interview with a guy I knew little about.

Jericho's podcast is usually pretty excellent, but only after about the ten minute mark once he's finally gone through his whole routine of shouting and singing random 80s hair-metal lyrics like he's a local radio zoo-crew host.
JR's is all right, but like XL said, I think he gets a little too stuck on "the way it was" instead of focusing on how to make the best of the way wrestling is today.
Austin's is okay, but depends very heavily on who the guest is. If it's somebody he's known a long time and can really converse with, it's great, but otherwise it can be pretty awkward.
Alright, SHOW'S OVER.
Nothing to see here. I bet half you punks are underage. Bet your parents would be real unhappy to hear about your drinking and smoking pot.
wait, wrong thread. Carry On.
