TNA...biggest show of the year...

Source: F4WOnline

This is evident by how TNA is handling the pay-per-view but it's said that within the company, Bound For Glory is not a priority. The impression has been given that the only thing TNA is really worried about is getting a TV deal. Stay tuned later today as new Bound For Glory matches and more changes are expected to be announced.

Yeah, why bother promoting something that can generate revenue with another promotion footing the bill?

I think one of the many reasons I stopped watching TNA was for the lack of job security wrestlers had there, I know some of the big names wanted the few dates, but even the dudes they could afford were thrown aside to make way for assholes and I thought sticking through that all would mean I was a fan of something awesome in the making, but I'm glad I got off that sinking ship while I had a chance.

The matches are still very good, usually.

it looks like house of hardcore is the big winner in the tna brakeup. sad thing about the death of ppvs, sec network killed football ppv's and the wwe network killed wrestling what is left for ppv's, bound for glory sounds like it will flop.

TNA needs to boil more than one pot at a time.

They NEED to get a good nation wide TV deal ASAP. Without TV they're just a ROH or PWG. You can have all the talent in the world, but without TV you're dead in the water. To make their product more appealing to TV networks they need to give it their best shot with every cell of film they have. BFG needs to be a big deal, and their television needs to help sell it.

It seems to me they booked the show to suit the Japanese crowd and forgot all about thier weekly viewers. Im all for showcaseing talent from japan but they dont even have the heavyweight title up at BFG. IF Lesner doesnt defend at HIAC then both companys will put on PPVs without the Heavyweight title being defended.

They're the only ones who are going to be watching this. So, why the hell not. When did Bound for Glory become THE Main show of the company? Though it was Slammiversary. This is going to be like when WWE filmed Raw in Germany. It'll be a taped gloried house show for PPV with mostly people nobody cares about. They are even thinking of keeping a team match of Muta and Tajiri off the PPV. The only Japanese stars on the card worth a shit in America. WTF?

Not surprised they're not pushing it on TV if none of the card relates to what's happening on TV. I thought holding it in Japan would give it a special feel, massive error.

Should have held it in England.

It's been obvious for a long time that they have no interest in BFG. But I think they need to be hitting their current product out on all clylinders in order for a TV deal to pick them up.

Imagine if an exec were to google a forum and read how apathetic everything seemed...

If an exec googles a forum, he should be fired.

The last episode of Impact had some really fun matches throughout the show.

I thought Muta looked decent in the main event, all things considered (Tajiri has seen better days, though). I thought the overall PPV was pretty solid. The Manik and Joe matches were the best on the card.
