Noid, that answer was far too short. Please elaborate. 500 word minimum. Thanks.

Doug Basham was the true prototype trained by OVW -- the true gem of the WWE's original developmental class. He portrayed the character "The Machine," and wrestled some matches that helped John Cena, Randy Orton, David Bautista and Brock Lesnar develop into four of the biggest stars in the industry. WOOOO!

He never got a chance to sell himself on SmackDown during his entire main roster career, which was spent exclusively on SmackDown. His one singles push took place entirely on Velocity. The rest of the time was spent in a tag team with Danny Basham, another solid talent that Doug helped develop. Their job was pretty much to enhance who they were in the ring with.

Basham also innovated the Last Impression, which is still used as a finish in the WWE today, but the half-as-charismatic Zack Ryder. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Doug Basham had been given an Intercontinental Title run on RAW -- since it is the workrate title.

that is a fine bit of work, tying the canvas down can be a pain in the arse but he's got nothing on the real Excellence of Execution, Tony Chimel, who used to hold a ringpost so well that they put him on TV and gave him a microphone. Not even a contest

Tony Chimel is also a good answer.

Shane McMahon he went from ring crew, to ref, to announcer, to superstar. Showing what you can do when you are good at setting up a ring. Here comes the Money!

Joking aside, I'd have to say a toss-up between Perfect and Bret Hart.
