SmackDown SPOILERS - 11.21.14

* Triple H kicks off SmackDown with a promo about Team Cena vs. Team Authority at Survivor Series.


1 - Rusev defeated Dolph Ziggler via submission.


2 - Los Matadores defeated The Miz and Damien Sandow. I don't know how the match ended because my girlfriend had to poop and didn't feel comfortable going by herself. Knoxville is a rough crowd.


* Dean Ambrose came out for his Survival Kit segment in the ring. He talked about how he got jumped when he was a kid so much that his mom gave him brass knuckles for his birthday. Bray Wyatt interrupted the segment on the big screen and talked about Survivor Series. Bray implied he would win the match.


3 - AJ Lee (dressed as Nikki Bella) defeated Brie Bella in a non-title match via submission.


4 - Luke Harper defeated Cesaro with a Torture Rack in under three minutes. Harper and Erick Rowan are still using the same theme. Rowan and Harper teased fighting after the match but did not.


* Team Cena cut a promo about how they will not have fear on Sunday. Triple H reiterated that if The Authority wins, Team Cena will be fired.


5 - Seth Rollins and Kane vs. Ryback and Big Show is the main-event. Ryback was on fire until Triple H came out with Team Authority. Triple H ordered the members to attack Big Show and Ryback. Triple H got involved and used a steel chair on Ryback. Triple H then dropped Ryback with a Pedigree. Team Authority stands tall over Ryback and Big Show to end SmackDown.

Him being an official Authority member helps both groups with the Authority getting their enforcer guy and Cesaro doing something meaningful. Although whole thing assumes Team Cena doesn't win this weekend.


Also :lol: Cena once again not helping his buddies out. Really cements him as possibly the worst friend to have in the WWE.

Turns out this new twist actually has another twist to it:

According to several readers, including Ty Housley, during the segment taped for Smackdown this week in which Triple H adds the main event stipulation, he actually left John Cena off the names of those who could be fired.

Triple H actually said John Cena would be exempt from being fired as he’s too valuable to the company, but the rest of Team Cena would be fired should Cena’s team lose the match

So once again, why does Cena hate the Authority when they've treated him way better the past year than everyone else including the "Face of the WWE" Randy Orton?

Don't think Ryback's character has been defined yet. There is a good chance he will be a tweener for a couple of months. But Cena is the super good guy that will always be going against evil.

It was more a shot at the way they've booked Ryback as a face (and he is supposed to be a face) than a comparison to Cena. Nothing to argue on the Cena front.
