Pretty damn stupid ending there to a "new era" RAW

I now see from the disgruntled fan's side of things. That was probably the best Survivor Series in awhile, hell, best PPV this year at least. To drop the usual RAW on us was pretty weak. I know it'll take time to build up a new era, but don't start a new era with the damn Anon GM piss.

Other than the ending, I like Ziggler, Sandow and all the other young guys getting in on a piece of the pie.

The only thing I could see coming out of this Anon GM thing is that it'll get trashed somehow during next week's RAW to put someone over. The new era trashing the old era or something, makes too much sense, forget I said that.

Just wait and see what I have planned, you won't be disappointed.

didn't watch the show but from what I gather the "Anonymous GM" will be in charge next week and this was announced via the old alert/Michael Cole reads the gimmick? Don't see the problem really, sets up the next show. Not every episode of a weekly TV show has to have a spectacular ending.

yeahhhhh, but they could have left that part out, they had the faces celebrating and everyone was into it.

I'm not changing my stance, that ending was brutal on my ears, the constant text tone reminded me of what shitty era I'm in where everyone is on their phones and conversations are few and between.

I was hoping for Randy Orton to return and RKO everyone. Next week might be crazy. If Im not mistaken Solomon Crowe was doing a hacker gimmick and it would be pretty cool if he was to be the GM and start hacking wrestlers twitter accounts and other stuff befor leading to his debut on the main roster. Just a thought.

I just checked out the ending, I guess the barrage of tones at the end wasn't really needed, Cole shrugging and the babyfaces looking confused would have been enough but still, don't really see a problem with it

Still pissed that Adam Rose and the bunny got a match but Cesaro wasn't even on the show.

I was confused because I thought the Anonymous Raw GM was already revealed to be Hornswoggle a couple of years ago. I've seen people saying "no, it was only implied that he was". The GM was adamant that he wasn't hiding under the ring and then Swog got pulled out and had a laptop with the Raw logo on it. Seems pretty clear he was the GM.

But whatever. It happened more than a month ago so it's in play to be retconned.

Hornswoggle was a red herring.

since they seem to be doing a "GM a week" thing, it could really be anybody under the guise of the old anonymous GM. Like have Triple H ham it up and play for laughs when he gets busted in a closet in the back somewhere with a laptop towards the end of the show or something.

Possibly. I'm interested in seeing if they even reference Swog or something.

Kinda hope they do bring back all the old Raw GMs for one-off appearances. I'd shamelessly mark out for Bischoff being in control one more night.

The only problem is the Authority ran both shows but not as GMs. So does SD get a general manager?

I remember when Smackdown used to be important. Now it's impotent.

Seems like it's just a GM Showcase to me.

Anon GM, Johnny Ace, Vickie, Paul Heyman (:y: :y: :y:) Each week another former GM until they make their pick.

I was most annoyed when Triple H and Stephanie started the show. I get that they were leaving, but starting the first post-Authority RAW with an Authority promo? They should have gotten a guy like Christian, Chris Jericho or Edge to a do a talk show segment where they invited them in to ridicule them.

I also think that RAW should have ended with Sting in the rafters...just watching. I don't think he needed a promo or to be more prominent in the show. Just a reminder to those that tuned in that Sting is there. Keep watching. He is.

I would have opened with a twenty-minute Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose match. Now that The Authority is gone, who is protecting sweet Seth? No one, so his enemies now get their hands on him. The name on the marquee is still wrestling, so have them tear down the house and hook people on wrestling. Advertise The Authority being on The Cutting Edge later tonight, and then have a Big Show vs. John Cena main event televised, since no one is protecting Big Show either. Have a Vince McMahon promo towards the end of the show where he says that he was disappointed that Triple H and Stephanie lost control, and since The Board of Directors removed him from making every day decisions, he's honestly got no clue how the WWE is going to move forward without a McMahon at the helm. Have Daniel Bryan's spot on the show be him crashing the promo and telling Vince that it was him who sent Vince that anonymous email that suggested he truly test Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. "It was me, Vince! It was me all along!" Give Bryan some last licks in on The Authority, instead of just being there to rejoice in it. Maybe have Vince snap and say "You're such an ideas man?!? You run this place! We'll see how long it lasts!" Bryan wouldn't need to be on every show, but he could pop-up every now and then in a taped promo.
