Before I start, let me get it out of the way:
:naughty:
Now, as I mentioned in the 10,001 reply thread yesterday, Jerry Jarrett (as well as Jerry Lawler) referred to Pretty Boy Tag Teams that drew in the teenybopper female demographic as "Blow Jobs."
In that thread, I made a smart assed remark about it. However, as I'm want to do, I started thinking about the business and things lacking. I mentioned at one point how, before Rollins, Edge was the last true heel. However there has been no replacement for the Hardy Boyz, who were the last true Blow Job.
And there is no replacement in sight. I would presume the closest thing to a team like that in any mainstream promotion is the Young Bucks, but I don't know if they even count.
There's several issues with WWE, and I'm sure lack of a Blow Job isn't very close to the top of those issues. But having a team that represents that demographic could only help them in terms of merchandise sales.
So, this thread is dedicated to the Blow Job teams of yore (The Fabulous Ones, the Rock N Roll Express, the (Midnight) Rockers, Flyin' Bryan and the Z man), etc. As well as some teams that could fill this role that are untapped.
And I can finally say that I made a post about Blow Jobs that is both safe for work and on topic for the Wrestling Forum. Victory is mine!
