Sting finally appearing on Raw.

Ok all he did was come out from behind the curtain, point and distract Rollins and let Cena get the win. No punches, no deathdrop, no Stinger splash

But.....let's not forget the significance. Sting, the Icon, the Franchise, the man who said he'd never work for McMahon/WWE, one of the big stars on Nitro at the height of the Monday Night War(s), finally made his debut on WWE's flagship show.

Who'd have imagined that back in 1990s, 2000s?

Now we need to see him fight, maybe hear him speak first.

Exactly. I remember marking out when Sting joined the Wolfpac , for some reason

Well they did make it seem like a huge deal even though it was the biggest slap to the face to WCW and it fans.

Well they did make it seem like a huge deal even though it was the biggest slap to the face to WCW and it fans.

In what way?

I mean it could have been better with the lights going out, smoke, the crow noises, then Sting appears baseball bat in tow and takes out all of the Authority except for Triple H and his bitch and then points the bat at Triple H, lights go out and he disappears, Cena gets the win.

But WWE don't seem that creative any more.

As for slap in the face, not too sure about that. Maybe as a WCW fan I/we have to accept it won't be as great as the whole Sting v NWO storylines were. It's a different time and I'm happy to see how they're going with this.

At least it's not the Joker Sting from TNA with his ridiculous theme music from there and the highlight of his feuds being Bubba Ray Dudley.

Sting joining the nWo was stupid. He fought them for 2+ years just to join them cause Lex Looser says too?

Lol at that misunderstanding.

Also, can't wait for the "Sting uses the WWE bathrooms for the first time EVER!" thread.

Maybe it's coz I had read spoilers beforehand, but I found both of Sting's appearances very underwhelming, to be honest.

Maybe it's been so long in the making that nothing WWE could do could really live up to the hype, or maybe it's coz Sting is 15 years past being relevant. I dunno. I'm a huge Sting fan, and he's one of my all-time faves, but I just really haven't been thrilled by what he's done so far.

And this isn't a jab at WWE's "shitty booking" or nothing. I just don't feel the moment has me marking out like I want it to.

I don't know man when he showed up the first time, even with prior knowledge that he may be there, I still marked the fuck out and high fived my buddy like a giggly goose.

Same this time.

I actually knew that this moment would happen. I was visited by Time Travelers in 2009 who told me this day would happen.

No he never said it. This is why he never joined before he did.
