Normally my threads are by my own admission, down right bizarre.

But I like many others were moved by last night's news of Connor being inducted into the HoF and as much as WWE have justifiably received a lot of criticism in recent weeks and months over questionable bookings, storylines etc This has to stand out as one of the best moves they've made in recent times.

An award recognising common fans, philanthropy, courage etc.

I hope this will be a permanent thing like they alluded to in the video and each year will pick a worthy candidate(s).

i read your post before i saw the video they put together and at first i thought it was a total PR move and it bothered me but now i think its genuine and its a really cool thing for them to do. They dont have to recognize the normal people and its really cool that they actually are. And i was pleasantly surprised you didnt say anything about boobs.

This is a great idea to incorporate the spirit of the Ultimate Warrior into every Hall of Fame induction. It's not what his idea was but it could be used that way in later inductions. It's great.

I go back to the part I said in another thread about the public being allowed to vote on this or similar award and surprised WWE haven't thought of that in this day and age of social networking/media.
