Wrestlemania

I say yes, when I seen the blood I was instantly like omg we have the attitude era back...

Maybe on the ring post spot.

I've seen the videos and all signs point to yes. WWE feverishly denies the allegations, however.

Not sure if being serious, but source?

Source for which part? There are videos of the ref handing Roman Reigns the blade on the outside of the ring to give to Brock. And as far as WWE denying allegations I read that on a news site over lunch...I'll try and find the article.

from WWE.com
"WWE programming is TV-PG and we don't permit intentional bleeding. The communication or contact between our performers and referees is part of our safety protocol. That said, unintentional blood sometimes occurs, and we do our best to minimize."

"feverishly" was an over dramatic adjective.

I just didn't know if they specifically referenced that match or w/e.. cool

Fuck off, it's Wrestlemania. They should have bladed in every match. Skylar fucking Grey should have bladed. Lana should have bladed her foot after the shoe spot. LL Cool Blade should have been an appropriate nickname for the intro.

Emma should glue razor blades to her finger nails so she blades everyone as she dances.

Kinda shocked Flair didn't blade during the Bryan segment, now that I think about it.

You can clearly see he cliches something. His hand was somewhat "open/flat" until AFTER the ref gives him something.
Coulda maybe been bubble gum. No one knows.

I might rewatch this just to see the transition from this spot, up until Lesnar bleeds.
Why would Roman be given a blade to give and/or use on Lesnar? I know that has been done in the "old school days" or whatever.
Would be funny is he just cut Lesnar's throat instead.

Sorry, the deevil made me do it!
I fling blood on a door, whisper prayers in reverse
Cast curse sling blood on a whore
Slap the fuck out the Deacon, he's reachin' for that book
Set the pages to flames, your lord is a lame, look
I'ma invert the crucifix, feast on a virgin
Work the word thin, use Rittz for toothpicks
I interpreted that as "Keep it real with ABT". ;)
no. My initial thought was hardway and that hasn't changed having seen the match/that spot again. Brocks head just twats off the post.

The gash could be seen on RAW too. Looked quite big for a blade job.

for the record, this is called "the office". That's Roman letting Chioda know he's not dead

I think the ref was giving Reigns a Band-Aid to help his boo-boos.

Or it was a good make up job to make people think it wasn't a blade job

Brock bleed on a post shot before when HHH made his return after tapping out.

Brock's skin is too tight from all the HGH and exploded.

What CSL said. The finger squeeze was Reigns demonstrating he was responsive and ok.
Yeh, that gif means nothing. The fact you see both guys outside the ring with open fingers and no blade right before on further exaggeration says it was hardway to me...perhaps a hardway by design, granted, but no blade.

Unless they did something sneaky, and Brock's blood is trained well, there's no way this was a blade job. Neither guy puts their hand near Lesnar's head before or during the ring post spot. It had to be hardway.

The ref had Roman squeeze his fingers to make sure he was still "with it". I've seen them do it in other matches.
I thought it was pretty clearly not a blade job.

Some people were commenting about how stiff the two were working and wondering if there was any legit heat between the two. Anyone know if that's true?

If Brock was about to blade, why would the ref give it to ROMAN?
Thank you.

Come on it's Brock fucking Lesnar. He probably takes the most "unprotected" head shots in the WWE. If his head is meant to "smack" into something, he's gonna headbutt the fucking shit out of it.

And as much as I don't mind WWE's no-blood policy, the blood in that match really added so much more to the brutality of it all. Especially the fact that I don't think any medic would get up in Lesnars face to seal the wound.

Lesnar is usually a pretty light worker. :|
I don't think he did. I rewatched the match back, and when both guys are on the floor they are standing with open hands and open fingers, and the camera shot of contact to the post and the close-up on his face is too fast, and its a margin of error WWE never often allowed when top guys would blade, they'd typically pull away, and such a close-up makes it quite tricky to figure out when it actually could have been done.

It's not like Brock came from the "blading era" anyways.....
