horrifying thought of Reigns vs Show in a last man standing match at Extreme Rules

Who's the next podcaster down the list? JR? Tazz?
JR's still got NUCLEAR HEATZ from the drunken legends panel. I can't imagine they'd have him on live.
Kevin Dunn probably thinks Tazz sounds too street, so he's out.
Going to guess we'll get Roddy Piper.

It's gonna be in Chicago, so the crowd should be interesting.

Did John Cena just name drop Sylvester Terkay?
Also, holy shit did Terkay look bizarrely like Rusev.

I'm going to drive that dog gif into the ground by posting it every time I see Reigns vs. Big Show mentioned.

John Cena, savior of marriages.
Except his own.
I can see why WWE didn't want Austin to interview Cena. Austin would have asked tough questions.
Jericho is like Diane Sawyer (sorry Tazz Dan)

Madusa taking JR's BBQ sauce from the trash during the Hall might have been a sign he's no longer on their blacklist. Either that or Vince has been itching to do a JR gag for a while now.

Raw sounded boring as fuck.
Expecting the Jericho podcast to be a pretty by the numbers fluff piece. Maybe one or two mildly tough questions so Jericho can go "SEE GUYS? I TOLD YOU MY PODCAST ISN'T KAYFABE"

I don't know that there's anything wrong with that. Not every interview needs to be an Anderson Cooper / President interview.
They're having fun, sure, but he's asked some solid questions. They had a really candid conversation about the omnipresent CENA NEEDS TO GO HEEL. Told some jokes, talked about the past.
It's fine. It's not like this is on 20/20 or something. It's been fun. It's really cool to see "Cena the guy" rather than "Cena the superstar." It sounds like him and Jericho are buddies, so I don't know that it would have been quite as fun with Austin. I'm not sure that the Austin WHAT ABOUT THAT CESARO CAT? questions really work as well with somebody that's not in charge of the company.
Not every interview/podcast has to be hard-hitting journalism.

Tazz is a no go cause he's on TNA.

I love John Cena. That was a fantastic interview. I was on edge during the steroid discussion but he does have a great defense to that accusation. And the kayfabe mark in my was shocked and almost didn't want to hear Cena talk about turning heel. That was really cool though, should let you know that it will happen eventually. He wants it. I really love how Jericho is so easy for people to talk to but can zoom in with the hard questions.

By the sounds of things, not for awhile... with "needing emergency surgery" and "contemplating legal action", this has the makings of a milkable angle.
"Sandman's Blind"
Coles gonna pull an Alex Riley and demand a match with Brock at Wrestlemania
He goes down to NXT and we get a year of Riley training Cole skits

WWE invited Jim Ross to NXT at WM. They sell his products on WWEshop. I think that he will eventually get to do his podcast on The Network. Triple H love's JR, it's Vince who can't get over that he is a WCW guy.

Pretty good Raw with a lot of promising things coming out of this.
Neville coming out and having a great showing against Seth Rollins really gives him a huge boost, especially for his second match. Rollins also came out looking strong. Nice touch.
Lucha Dragons are super popular, and New Day look to be turning heel, which is desperately needed, especially for Kofi Kingston.
Stardust had a great showing against Cena, which further shows that this guy can still be seen as a legit main eventer some day.
Prime Time Players and Cesaro/Kidd making their presence known at least keeps them in the loop.
Am watching the Podcast at the moment. Jericho referencing the Five Moves of Doom is awesome. :y:

I enjoy WWE's product so much more these days when the younger guys are given more chance to shine. A lot of the "older guy" stuff on Raw was pretty boring. Kane, Big Show/Reigns (again) were all pretty dull. But the young guys really started to shine through here and I enjoyed it.

Am I the only one that marked out at the idea of a Cena heel theme existing somewhere, along with Cena heel merchandise?

Sort of glad for the announcers that Rusev lost the US title. Eden always had to take a weird break to catch her breath.

All the recent theme changes have been a major step down. Fandango, Cody, Shield, Cesaro, Adam Rose, Sting, etc.
Lock Jaw
04-08-2015, 07:09 PM
Adam Rose had his theme changed?
Ultra Mantis
04-08-2015, 09:58 PM
He had a much better version of his current theme when he "debuted" in NXT, but it got changed to an in-house version almost immediately because they didn't want to pay for the license.
Lock Jaw
04-08-2015, 10:04 PM
Oh. So you are hung up on the theme he only actually used once on his debut in NXT. I wouldn't call that a "recent theme change"....
I'd barely classify it as a theme change because he only used the other one once on his debut.
Ultra Mantis
04-08-2015, 10:14 PM
I'm not really hung up on it, I mean its Adam Rose, but it was a change for the worse. His entire entrance was choreographed around the original song and that was 80% of his act, he had it for that block of four episodes but they dubbed over it with the new one. The crowd carried on singing the original during his matches. It was probably the most over thing about him actually.
Lock Jaw
04-08-2015, 10:21 PM
His new one is just fine. Just went on youtube and listened and watched his debut on nxt and it just seemed "wrong" and "incomplete".
