I'm just gonna get going on this. Way too stoked and happy for this news.

Here's the announcement trailer.

Boss fights were announced to be completely optional as part of the improvements being made to the stealth route of the game.

When asked on Twitter if Deus Ex: Mankind Divided would be "ghostable" (that is, if you can sneak through the game completely undetected without killing or subduing anyone) director Jean-François Dugas said, "As always and even on boss side, finally!"

Hopefully, if you choose to fight them it's a more interesting battle than the last game's bosses.

I can get sucked into this game for hours just wandering around hacking computers and door locks.

But my goodness, could the at least get the audio to match up with the lip movements of the characters?

Who is playing?

According to some sales data and estimates, game itself is really under performing at least in the UK market compared to Human Revolution.

Sold around 50% less copies than Human Revolution did for launch while Steam sales in general not looking good either (slightly higher than HR).

North American sales also rumored to not be looking good or at least what Square Enix was expecting.

Damn...hope it doesn't become just another critically acclaimed but overlooked by players category of game.

Might have gotten the game breaking bug.

Shame, as it's honestly a goty candidate.

it's a shame SquareEnix decided they didn't need to do any marketing on it. They did on the last one.

Glad to see its failing.

Im a huge Deus Ex fan, Deus Ex 1 was a huge favorite from my teenage years and Human Revolution was brilliant and one of my favorite games of the past 10 years.

I still haven't bought Mankind Divided because of their decision not to do a retail release for the PC version. I don't like to get all digital games...I like having a box, esp if it's a special edition (I have Human Revolution augmented limited edition)

Also don't like the Denuvo anti piracy that they force you to have on your computer with the game.
Hopefully they realize their mistake and don't do it again, but they'll just blame the franchise.

Shit.

Might have gotten the game breaking bug.

Crisis averted. Just had to restart the game.

At the end, gonna put it away either tonight or tomorrow.

Finished play through 1.

Not the best ending. But, hopefully they put together 1 more game to wrap up the Adam Jensen saga. Totally knew the shrink was shady the moment I saw her.

Human Revolution was amazing, IMO. The Missing Link DLC? Eh, not so much but I used a "road map" to help nab all the DLC trophies anyway, including Factory Zero. Only a few trophies overall which I missed which I'm honestly pretty proud of myself about.
