Check out the latest episode of everyone's favorite HABM-less promotion  The first match features two cruiserweights, one dude (it's gonna be pretty obvious which) has a national championship gymnastics background. The second features everyone's favorite mustachioed Titan.... and I'm looking noticeably slimmer in my own humble opinion :p and the main event features a 5 on 5 elimination match between Reality of Wrestling and a very popular north east promotion Pro Wrestling Syndicate (and special appearances by Sharmell and Booker T himself)
Enjoy

Loved the clothesline & chokeslam, both with extra stank.

damn, the clothesline is legit Roll.

I have some humble advice, you walk around kind of stiff, like you're scared shitless to be in front of everyone, you need to put some bounce in your step. You're one of the biggest monsters in that building. Stare into the crowd's souls and make them want to buy another ticket. Utilize the outside, say something to like 2-3 fans, one at a time and inform them of random feats you've accomplished and let them know they will never be you.

Like being unpinned in every match you've had on Raw.

you look great physically man. huge improvement. Great clothesline and great chokeslam. That dude you were wrestling was a god damned sandbag though.

Need to pimp your look a bit, if fiscally possible. I'm just not a huge fan of baggy pants.

You should get tights that are just covered in eyes.

Maybe not in the pink palette though, IDK.

The idea I have for the gimmick to the ring is to be soo "ready to explode" that as soon as the bell rings I go full charge at my opponent (so instead of being a "regular heel", my idle is like 60 mph and as soon as I have the ability to, I charge 150 mph at my opponent) With that kinda gimmick, it wouldn't make sense for me to be "arguing with the fans" or do things like tie up and basic chain wrestle. The best person I can compare the gimmick to right now in "mainsteam wrestling"..... would be Bull Dempsey, but he's got his own spin on it.

Mother of god your opponent is the drizzling shits. Cena's STF's window is smaller than the one between his punches and your face.

Love your clothesline.

but you're "nobody" so to speak. That would be all well and good if you were working for WWE on a weekly basis on national TV and that gimmick was over and people knew what it was. But that's like 100 people and a small Youtube viewership. Anybody that you point in the direction of this as an example of your work to try and gain bookings elsewhere isn't going to think it's part of your gimmick, they're just going to think that you don't have much going on. Your size is your gimmick, you don't need to try and overcomplicate things, especially when you're so inexperienced. Play to your strengths and keep it basic, you have to walk before you can run.

.... This is actually a youtube video of the episodic television show for Reality Of Wrestling which is broadcasted on the Network Soul of the South which has 30 affiliates across the US (to give that some perspective, ROH has around 50 affiliates for their television show)

The "product" so to speak is portrayed as a WWE style televised wrestling production, as opposed to an "indie show". The difference between the two is that on RAW or even NXT, guys don't come out and "argue with the audience". It's about "telling a story" to the camera and the people at home, not necessarily to the audience there.

I realize that. There are also a million of those kind of shows across America, Europe, Japan, New Zealand and so forth. My point about your "gimmick" still stands. And you always tell a story to the audience there, even on RAW that's the case. That's what "showing out" is all about, you watch the average WWE match and everything is catered to be seen and understood by the guy sitting in the back row of the arena, not just those close up or watching on TV. It's a basic fundamental. If people can't really tell what you're supposed to be doing/you have to spell your "gimmick" out to somebody that has just watched it on the internet, what chance does that guy in the back row have?

Feel like it'd be really easy to come up with an interesting and originalish gimmick. Just basically tweek something in popular culture like wwe does except not 10 years too late. Or tweek something enough for it to not be obvious its a rip off.

Which is why a good gimmick is constantly evolving and changing, so that it grows with the performer. Which is why the next episode the gimmick has changed alittle and the next, and the next. If you treat every episode of an episodic wrestling show like it's your first time, then it doesn't come off like a television show.

it sounds like you don't even know what your gimmick is supposed to be or even what you're trying to say there so I'm not entirely sure how you're going to evolve in order for it to grow. So many guys are too busy thinking about/getting excited about steps 6, 7 and 8 that they forget about steps 1, 2 and 3. Which is kind of the impression I'm getting from you. I dunno, good luck man.

Big dude with crazy eyes who wears tights covered in eyes inspired by a Final Fantasy monster is probably my favourite gimmick that I've made up in this thread.
