View Full Version : If TNA can't afford to pay their talents then how can they afford to go on international tours etc?

I find it odd how every now and then stories about TNA's financial troubles surface yet they always seem to be able to embark on UK/European tours and potential tours further afield on the horizon.

I think UK tours probably sell better for them?

Every time they do Impact tapings in UK venues, the arenas always seem more packed, anyway...

They are probably being brought in by certain promoters and given a flat rate. Then they will pocket everything from the meet and greet and merchandise.

The "rumors" about TNA not paying people seems to be just that, rumors. People take websites like PWI as the gospel.... but then again PWI is the some site that reported Sting was gonna debut after WM XXX and challenge Undertaker for the streak this year, Bray Wyatt was seriously injured hours before Mania and will not preform, Adrian Neville was going to debut on RAW under a masked "Mighty Mouse" gimmick....
Insider dirt sheets = Supermaket tabloids

Taz stated one of the reason he left TNA was because his pay was late.

Didn't know former WCW jobber Mark Starr died before reading Gertner's reply in this thread. Damn. He was just behind Joey Maggs and "Jungle" Jim Steele as the most memorable WCW jobbers of my childhood.
