View Full Version : Idea for Bo Dallas and Heath Slater

Slater keeps trying to face Cena for the U.S title but gets knocked out before he can even get to the ring. After a while he starts getting down on himself. Enter Bo Dallas. Bo consoles Slater and asks him to become his #1 Bo-Liever. Similar to the Matt Hardy/Shannon Moore Mattitude angle.

Slater needs to start wearing an "I Bo-Lieve" shirt.
Instead of "I'm a One Man Baaaaaand Baby" he can say " I'm a Booooooo Liever Baby"
They can do stupid stupid shit like having a Bo Dallas trying to get Slater to do a Trust Fall with some really fat guy. Slater becomes very hesitant to do it until Dallas tells him to Bo-Lieve he can do it. The fat guy falls and squashes Slater like a bug.
I'm laughing even typing this shit.

Feels like the story where Paul Orndorff had a psychic companion who got him over his self-esteem issues and made him Wonderful again.
A Slater/Bo pairing would be a lot of fun to watch.

Before I opened this, I was pretty sure it was going to be about them forming a Dukes of Hazzard type team and just going by Bo and Heath.
Either way I fully support it

Stick Bo Dallas with Luke Harper and they can be Team Harper and Dallas

I'm happy with 6.5! What if I added Tatanka as their native American friend/manager?

I do really like the original idea though, think it is perfect for them, easy and simple to do. Its a pity they could care less about the lower card
They should switch ring gear because I think it would be funny to so Bo in pants and Heath in trunks.

Great idea. Awesome heel tag team that could be an alternate heel group to The New Day (who I am also digging). Between them and Cesaro & Kidd as faces, the tag team division could be a fun little escape in the middle of the show...BABBBAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!

For some reason, I would like to see that Dallas/Slater team associated with a heel Chris Jericho. I think Jericho and Slater would have great chemistry for some reason. Just riffing there.

Is it just me, or is there a lot of "comedic" gimmicks in WWE today?

This is not only a tremendous idea, but I think it would get over extremely fast.
I like this idea a lot.

Not enough. Needs more Santino.

Correct me if I am wrong, but did you not constantly complain about Santino when he was around?

Santino should be a manager.

I'm convinced this is the route the WWE should go with Dallas and Slater.

If so, then you're definitely wrong. I might be the biggest Santino mark here. I even said that giving him a run with the World title on Smackdown would not have been a bad idea. The guy is entertaining as shit and would have drawn more people to the product than most of the guys they put the title on.

<font color=goldenrod>I feel like even a one week title run for Santino would have been incredible, just for the WTFFFFFF-ness of it all.
His near wins at the 2011 Rumble and 2012 Elimination Chamber actually sucked you in for a second even if you knew in the back of your head that they wouldn't actually go through with it.</font>

Either win would have been incredible. Outside of just the surrealness of such an underdog being champion or winning the Rumble, he's such a great entertainer that he could have kept the crowd behind him like crazy even after the shock value wore off. It doesn't hurt that he can actually come off as kind of a badass in the ring if need be.

<font color=goldenrod>Hindsight 20/20 and all that, but knowing that Del Rio winning the 2011 Rumble wound up meaning precisely dick in the end...I really wish Santino had gotten the victory out of nowhere.
Could have spent most of the build being focusing on nobody taking Santino seriously. Would have had a match vs. Del Rio at Elimination Chamber or something.</font>

Edge being champion makes it tough but if there were a heel champion at the time, just imagine the intrigue that would have come from Santino heading into WrestleMania to challenge for the World Title as the biggest underdog of all time. I don't think it would be possible to fuck that build up. Maybe have Hogan or someone train him the weeks leading up. It would have been SO GOOD.

<font color=goldenrod>Santino's said he's still mulling trying to make a comeback and he's been training hard at his MMA gym. Kinda hope he doesn't though. 41 years old and multiple neck surgeries...feel like that can't possibly end well.</font>
