In your own personal opinion, who are currently your top 10 favorite WWE/NXT Superstars/Divas, and why? Nothing to do with merchandise sales or picking stars of the future. Just as of right now, in YOUR eyes, who entertains you the most?
This is my list. Feel free to elaborate on your choices more than I did, just trying to liven up the wrestling forum.
1) Brock Lesnar - Brock is just a legit badass dude. Even though I would like to see him a tiny bit more often, I love him in this special attraction ordeal, it makes me get hype whenever he shows up and just destroys everything. But I would like to see him on maybe at least on every PPV. Also, him accompanied by Paul Heyman, is 100%, best for business.
2) Randy Orton - Along with CM Punk, has been my favorite superstar of the PG Era. From Evolution, to Legacy, to the Viper. Just always loved the character. Also, like Brock, he's believable. Randy Orton look like a badass dude.
3) Wade Barrett - I have been a huge Barrett supporter since The Nexus. He just naturally shines, he has one of the best heel attitudes that I've ever seen. I loved the Nexus angle, I loved Bad News Barrett, and I couldn't be any more on board with his current King gimmick. I really hope that he sticks with it for a while (Booker T, Macho Man). Also, like 1 & 2, looks believable.
4) Seth Rollins - Before the Shield split, Seth may have just cracked my Top 10. He was actually my least favorite of the three. I knew he had the look and saw glimpses of the in-ring ability, but was not fully aware until he went solo. To me, Seth Rollins should be in the main event/upper-card picture of the WWE for years. The in-ring skills, the look and confidence, solid on the mic. I have definitely became a very big Rollins guy.
5) Bray Wyatt - I think he portrays his character better than most. If the writers give him a push and actually stick with it and let him get that big win against a top star, the sky is the limit.
6) Ryback - Love Ryback. With his natural charisma, he can pretty much get over as a face or a heel regardless of what storyline he's given. Like Wyatt, if they can give Ryback a big push and maintain it, a guy like Ryback could really get the crowd into in. I really think Ryback with the right push, could absolutely be an extremely entertaining WWE Champion.
7) Dean Ambrose - I'm a big fan of the lunatic fringe gimmick. When he's being pushed and gets some promo time, he gives me an old school Roddy Piper vibe, and I dig it.
8) Dolph Ziggler - Had trouble deciding between him and Ambrose. Dolph, like Seth Rollins, is the total package. Great in the ring, great look and attitude, solid on the mic. Ziggler can also really get the crowd into it, face or heel.
9) Cesaro - Has all the tools, and the crowd was responding during his push. I want to see Cesaro get a real chance to shine, I really enjoy his character.
10) Kevin Owens - My last spot was difficult because after #9, I still had three people I wanted on my list. I really enjoy Paige, and at this moment I really dig Rusev (I worry that after his initial monster push ends, that he will fall into that Great Khali category with the writers). But in the end, I had to go with Owens. I love his character, and he is definitely an extremely believable badass.

Brock Lesnar - I don't feel I have to go into detail about how great he has been recently
John Cena - The US Open thing really is a lot of fun to watch. He's proving that he can work with pretty much anyone, and he's elevating both the title and anyone who takes a shot at it.
Seth Rollins - He has pretty much been absolutely perfect in his role since The Shield split.
Sheamus - He was born to be the heel that he is right now. So good. Great matches, too.
Cesaro - Push this man, for fuck sake.
Kevin Owens - And it's weird, because from the little I saw of Kevin Steen, I wasn't a fan. He's doing great work in NXT right now. Probably the most believable person on the mic in the entire WWE.
Neville - Dude is just straight talent.
Bad News King Barrett - Excellent heel, and I hope the pairing with Sheamus is a semi-permanent thing.
Dolph Ziggler - I thought the feud with Sheamus was going to be silly, but it's really turning out great. He's been intense.
Dean Ambrose - Cincinnati represent.

There are a LOT of others that I like right now, but this is off the top of my head and in no particular order. Shout out to The New Day for being awesome right now too. Even Roman Reigns doesn't suck.

Not in any order, and too lazy to elaborate right now, but:
Cesaro
Daniel Bryan (does he count?)
Seth Rollins
Dean Ambrose
Tyson Kidd
Neville
Dolph Ziggler
Bad News Barrett
John Cena (what ABT said, his recent US Title invitational has been great)
Finn Balor

Brock because he's real.
Cena because he's the guy, I truly respect him, and he always has fair to great matches. Especially on big shows.
Seth Rollins, he's finally getting it and comes off like a big deal star. I never thought he'd make it this far but I was totally wrong.
Roman, he's got one of the coolest looks, some great moves, and is totally underrated by everyone. Him taking the loss at WM added a lot of grit to his character and I am in support of his success now.
Cesaro, truly underrated by the WWE Creative team. He should have been shot to the main event after WM last year and gone up against Lesnar. They could still get that heat back just let him roll.
Sami Zayn, he's the best babyface ever. Amazing entrance, just all around one of the best they have.

John Cena - Goes without saying that the guy deserves his spot.
Dean Ambrose - Dude is great on the mic and in the ring. His character has plenty of life and he can work amazingly well as a face or a heel.
Dolph Ziggler - Pretty much the same comment as I had for Dean.
Sheamus - Dude has the look and is probably one of the best "big men" on the roster. He puts on consistently great matches and as a heel is one of the best acts on WWE tv today.
Bray Wyatt - Do I even need to justify this pick?
Ryback - I know, I know, he's become a bit overrated around these parts, but honestly I just love everything about him. He's not the best in the ring but he's passable and his mic skills and charisma are off the charts compared to most of the other big guys on the roster today.
Seth Rollins - Not a huge fan of his but he's definitely done well in his current spot. He's entertaining in the ring and more than passable on the mic.
Brock Lesnar - Biggest heel of the last decade and a true bad ass. Plus he killed SuperCena. I mean it doesn't get any better than that.
Neville - Dude has the potential to be a HUGE star. He's got the look of a WWE superstar and the skill of an indy darling. The only thing holding him back is that he's a bit too short, but honestly I don't see that being a problem in the long run.
Sami Zayn - He's Daniel Bryan but with a better look and more charisma. He's perfect for that role of the underdog with a heart of gold. If he can overcome this new injury and not become injury prone like Bryan did then he'll be golden.
Kevin Owens - If he's handled right he'll be great. He's threatening and bad ass but also agile and entertaining. I honestly see the only limit to what he can achieve being just how far the WWE is willing to go with him.
Finn Balor - Jeff Hardy without all the drug problems and about 10 times the charisma. He'll go far without a doubt.
Honorable mention: Daniel Bryan - His future is uncertain and he may not be around much longer but his run was a thing of beauty. He changed the game and did so while also achieving more than he or his fans could ever have hoped for.

Damn. I know the majority of the wrestling forum posters on here are a fan of Slater, as am I. I figured he would pop up on a few people's lists, definitely surprised to see that he is somebody's current favorite/most entertaining WWE Superstar.
I'm a fan of Heath Slater myself. I always wondered if he was able to get a big push how far he could actually go. The arrogant "One Man Band" baybayyyyy gimmick is still tits, just could use some minor tweaking. And he does have lot of the important characteristics needed to succeed (in-ring ability, charisma, very entertaining on the mic, interacts with the crowd). If Slater can get a big push and become the focal point of a story/feud that the crowd can get in to, I have faith that he would succeed. Slater is just a great natural heel. To me, he's like, the male version of Vickie Guerrero on the mic, the way he has that natural ability to get under the live crowd's skin and get them making noise. Would love to see how far he could go.
Even though I know that Heath Slater has a lot of support on these boards, I can honestly say that I am verryyyy shocked that he cracked somebody's Top 7.
Looks like we have our official #1 "Slater Non-Hater" ... Ehhh, "One Man Band Fan" .... Slaterade. Nevermind, Gertner heads the Heath Slater Fan Club.
One last quick idea I've had for Slater. Have Mario Lopez guest host Raw one Monday (he's a TV personality, and he's built, so of course they would give him the Hugh Jackman treatment and let him take down a Superstar. But instead, Lopez shows up in Saved By The Bell attire, and goes full heel on everyone, claiming that he in actuality is not Mario Lopez, but instead, A.C. Slater, The One Man Band's jacked older brother.

Just sticking with main roster guys. In no particular order.....
Daniel Bryan- Bryan's my favorite wrestler, period. I'm really concerned about his health and safety now that he's apparently made of glass, but hopefully he'll finally adapt his in-ring style so he's not putting himself in as much danger when (or if) he returns. As it is, the guy's a kickass wrestler who always has great matches, draws the biggest pops from anyone since the Attitude Era, and seems like a pretty great dude outside of the ring, so I really hope he gets better and sticks around for a good long time.
Seth Rollins- The guy's become the most easy-to-hate heel in ages, and is immensely fun to watch in the ring. Guy has to get all sorts of points for being a huge part in what's been the match of the year so far (the triple threat at the Royal Rumble with Brock and Cena), and doesn't seem to be losing steam any time soon.
Luke Harper- I really wanted Bray Wyatt to be on my list, but I think Harper takes his spot instead. And the reason for it is pretty simple: Luke Harper doesn't need other people to buy his gimmick for it to work. Bray Wyatt's floundering in the midcard now talking about how he's the "new face of fear" and nobody's buying it because he loses all the time. Luke Harper, win or lose, is still a terrifying redneck hoss who will kick your goddamn head off.
Wade Barrett- Barrett's been a hell of a workhorse since he came back, and his natural obnoxiousness makes him a perfect fit to be current King of the Ring. Just hoping they let him stick with his gimmick this time, instead of axing it as soon as it gets over.
Dean Ambrose- This guy should have been the breakout star of 2014 if they weren't so intent on making Roman Reigns the top face (and if Seth Rollins hadn't outshined everyone else in the back half of the year). Even if he stalled for the last six months or so, he's still massively over, is consistently good in the ring with just about everyone they pair him up with, and has a gimmick and personality that is really entertaining no matter what stupid shit they give him to do.
Cesaro- Antonio Cesaro should be right now where 2012-early 2013 Daniel Bryan was, the reliable workhorse that generally everybody likes even if he's not going to break through to the main event. He's consistently awesome in the ring, freak-show strong, a far better talker than people give him credit for, and can work with pretty much anyone.
Kalisto- Kalisto is what they wanted when they brought on Sin Cara, a fast and exciting luchador to replace Rey Mysterio. It's unfortunate that he showed up a couple of years too late and that they're still teaming him up with Sin Cara 2, but as soon as he inevitably sheds that dead weight, I think he'll have a long and (relatively) successful career in the E.
The Miz- I know Sandow got the most attention during their whole program, but he wouldn't have had anything to work with if Miz wasn't on-point with his shit. He's the most hateable heel this side of Rollins, and has been bringing his A-game on the mic and in the ring for months. Too bad nobody cares because he's the Miz in 2015 instead of Miz in 2011.
John Cena- There are a lot of things I don't like about Cena. What I do like about him, though, is the US Title Open Challenge. Yeah, we know Stardust is never going to get a win over Cena, but Cena's at least giving a lot of the midcard guys a fair amount of time to showcase their stuff before he inevitably beats them.
Brock Lesnar- Yeah, he's never around, but on the rare occasion that he shows up to wrestle, holy shit. Plus, after watching Roman Reigns be handed the moon on a silver platter, watching Brock annihilate him with almost zero effort was hilarious, so even if he wasn't a special final-boss fight, he'd be on my list.

I can agree with this list. :y: I think Harper deserves more of a push...I really like his in ring work.

Cesaro
Best wrestler in the WWE, hands down. This dude just makes me mark every time he does something. I almost can't believe how good he is. His success in the tag team division is bittersweet at the moment, but I hope he finds a way to strike chords and then the only way to go is up.
Luke Harper
This guy is a fucking beast. I see him do stuff and I actually think "Whoa..." Not everybody has been able to do that. He completely inhabits his character, and he's believable in his role. Credibility isn't a problem with this guy, because he's got the size to look like he can beat anyone at any given time. I guess he's back with Rowan now, which will be good for Rowan, but hopefully allows us to see some occasional Cesaro vs. Harper matches, SmackDown Six style.
Sami Zayn
I just love this dude. He's as good a babyface as anyone I can remember the WWE having. He can talk, and he makes you believe everything he's saying. He's not push-over as a character, either. He's not your average baby-kissing face. There's something more "raw" about him. He's a fantastic worker, and although he doesn't look like your average top star, he has a way of making believers out of people. That he doesn't look like anyone else in the main event scene might actually help him.
Brock Lesnar
This guy gets in a WWE ring and it feels special. I wish they'd give Brock a chance to get in the ring with a few younger guys to try and give that quality a chance to rub off on them. Lesnar vs. Cesaro could have been a thing after WrestleMania XXX, but now it's lost a lot of its luster. I'm glad that Rollins vs. Lesnar seems to have some appeal left to it.
Seth Rollins
This guy is not only a great worker, but he's become a great promo, which a lot of people doubted was possible. He completely inhabits the slimy dirt-bag, but down the line their is potential for him to turn hero on us and be one of the WWE's top players. Provided he stays healthy, he'll have a long career at the top, and will easily be in the same breath as stars like Randy Orton and Edge.
Dean Ambrose
I was more pumped for this guy back when he was on a crusade for justice against Seth Rollins. He then got a bit aimless, but has seemingly remembered that he hates Seth. Good. Batman vs. Joker drew money, and so can Rollins vs. Ambrose. They should really give this guy a chance to talk more so his gimmick has more chance of hitting a chord with people. It's almost like they want to drop him back down to mid-card. I hope they have changed their mind again. The crazy fantasy booker in me would actually enjoy seeing Ambrose leave Baltimore the World Heavyweight Champion, with Rollins left with issues with Kane and Orton and Reigns left to fight in MITB as Ambrose defends against the King of the Ring, or something. It won't happen, but I'm still tipping Ambrose as the most likely choice to win Money in the Bank in Columbus this year.
Paige
She's fucking adorable and she's kick-ass in the ring. I kind of resent the WWE for dropping the ball with AJ Lee vs. Paige, but Paige will be fine now that she has her toes wet. I think she and a lot of the NXT girls have a real good chance at becoming big stars for the WWE. Maybe not "household names" like Austin, Rock or Hogan; but top-billed stars of the company, alongside their male counterparts.
Becky Lynch
I have a massive crush on this woman, and I think she's got a truly remarkable story. I'm glad to see her getting to stretch her legs in NXT, and although I worry about how she will go on RAW and SmackDown, I think if she gets the chance to speak with her ring skills, she might be a sleeper hit once she gets called up to the main roster. Especially since Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn could randomly throw her with Sheamus and develop weird crushes on her too, leading to lots and lots of exposure that girls like Emma and even Summer Rae have had trouble getting over prolonged periods of time.
Dolph Ziggler
I've got to include this guy, right? It's just an objective fact he's a great professional wrestler at this point. I'm actually not that interested in him, and have been sort of ready for a heel turn for some time, but I do get the love. I feel that something hasn't quite clicked. There's some reason he hasn't gotten "white-hot" yet, and when he figures that out, he'll fix that to and become a household name. Probably. Or he'll leave before that happens (hedging my bets here). I get bored of the yo-yo booking with Zigs, and he falls into the pattern of having match after match after match after match with the same guy, and it being called a "program" (not his fault). WWE should take a chance and have Dolph Ziggler take issue with Triple H directly. You want your spiritual successor to Daniel Bryan? You've got him in Dolph Ziggler.
John Cena
He can still go and he's been working hard to tear it up with a different guy each week. There are flaws with the character, but Cena has worked hard to make sure the in-ring performances are "good." He's still one of the best and a top money draw. He should be higher on this list, actually, but it's kind of a "goes without saying" spot.
Bray Wyatt
When he talks, you almost forget how bad an actor most wrestlers are. If he could find a way to channel that into a more pointed message, he could talk people in buildings for big PPV matches. I don't really look forward to his matches, but he's a commodity and someone you want to have on your roster right now.

Well, I guess I now have a spot for Bray Wyatt on my top ten, now that Daniel Bryan is probably gone forever. :'(
So, erm, yeah.
Bray Wyatt- Bray's a fantastic talker, even if he's been given nothing to work with and has spent several months saying pretty much the exact same thing over and over. But a lot of people overlook how good he is in the ring, especially when he's fighting someone he can really get physical with. More importantly, everything Bray does, he does in character-- not just the way he talks or his taunts to the crowd, but the way he moves, the way he sells moves, etc. This is a guy who gets the little things, and when you're paying attention to the things he's saying during the match, he's usually telling a much better and more interesting story than the twelve-thousand rambly gasping promos about "fear" and "change" manage to tell.
