View Full Version : Idea for Wyatt Family

Seeing the talk about Adam Rose and Bo with Bray at a recent house show made me think about how awesome it would be to have a really threatening stable on the roster. It would give a lot of guys direction and also bring a feud to the faces on the roster that need it.

It could all start with Bray looking on as Bo gets his weekly beatdowns, and just turning away, turning his back on him. Eventually the confrontation happens and we see Bo realize that he is an object of fun, joining up with his brother out of anger at his ridicule.

The two start coming out and messing with Rose's Rosebuds after that, costing a confused Rose matches. Eventually Bray cuts a scathing promo lambasting Rose for pandering to the masses and leaving his true self behind. He is living a lie and won't be accepted until he embraces who he is. Leo Kruger returns as part of a new Wyatt Family.

In their first feud they are about to get their comeuppance when the lights go out and Harper and Rowan make the save destroying the faces and leaving the group standing tall.

They explain to the crowd that none of them were accepted on their own terms, no one wanted superstars without the looks, money or funny quips. They tried to go it alone and instead of support, they were met with laughter and apathy. Bray accepts them for who they really are and together they will destroy the fans heroes.

I think it would make for great TV, building Bray up to get the title surrounded by his goons. Imagine the pop with the likes of Orton and Reigns getting outnumbered on Raw and Lesnars music hit. It raises Wyatt to a higher profile, gives 4 guys direction and wwe a big summer angle. Thoughts?

I like the idea of Bray Wyatt taking in guys who are down on their luck and preying on their insecurities until they join him-- that's kinda what cult leaders are supposed to do in the first place. It'd make him seem like a more sinister presence, and at the very least it would give him something to do beyond just calling out more prominent wrestlers who routinely kick his ass.

Agree. Bray's gimmick needs a stable in order to really work well.

Slightly disagree, only in that Rowan still needs some sort of individual persona besides the mask. I still think the way to go is to give him a new "mentor" in Kane, expousing the "virtues" of being a monster in a mask from firsthand insight. Add into this his almost tweener status as Director of Operations, and possibly still struggling with "letting the monster go", and you potentially have a situation where Kane is now (sort of) a manager- he becomes Paul Bearer to Neo Kane.

Bray is all "time to come home, now" and he instead rebells. You now have the feud you SHOULD HAVE had between Harper and Rowan that just kind of stopped, only now there are some kind of stakes involved as to where Red Rowan's allegiances lie. He becomes more aggressive in his matches, with the DoO at least standing on the top of the ramp taking special intrest in his matches. He is shown occasionally backstage giving Rowan advice at the beginning of a backstage segment where he's inturrupted by Seth Rollins, or eventually, inturrupted by someone of less consequence and Erik The Red is set upon them like an attack dog (or without prompting, to the delight of Kane). Eric adds some red to the lamb mask, some flame homage to his ring attire, and you have the groundwork to build somethimg on his individual persona that has been lacking.

Hell, even make a match where if he wins he's free to choose, if he loses he forcibly rejoins the Wayatt Family. The catch is, he likely chooses the Wyatts either way. In a "strange" twist, turnimg on Kane almost makes more sense, as Kane won't even be all butthurt ans betrayed, but instead "glad" he helped a fellow monster find his way.

Perhaps they need to bring a diva into the fold along with them. That way they can have a strangle hold over the mid card.

What made the cooperation and the NWO, heck any of the old stables so great was the spin offs into other rivalries. As of late I'm hard pressed to find any good spin offs besides the Shield.

Bray Wyatt should just get Harper & Rowan back.

Think he will at Payback as a way to take down Ryback.

I was thinking that once Wyatt is done with Ryback, he could brainwash him to become part of a new Family; but I don't want to see every guy without direction under the son aligned with Bray.

Maybe Bray Wyatt should end up being like a Chris Kanyon; comes across as intimidating and the face of fear but keeps losing matches and eventually becomes a laughing stock.

Frankly that's what WWE have done to him so far given he hasn't scored any truly big wins over a A+ superstars at a major ppv and has yet to hold a belt.

If WWE are taking their time to build him up into a major angle then it had better be something truly special. Even I'm getting a little tired and impatient of not seeing this guy get title shots etc when he is clearly worthy of them.
