Rusev has more talent than Mero did. He is also over on his own merit. It is just in the last few months they have played up "We Want Lana" stuff. When she was there before it was all about Rusev/Russia/Putin.

Yeah, I would put a question mark there too. Rusev is undoubtedly better in ring, but Mero played the character so well, and I was always really entertained by it. The gimmick also had the realism of the boxing background of Mero.

I can't believe how Rusev is built to be a big badass, squashes dudes left and right, gets an awesome (if not THE best WM entrance) and is now about to lose the more interesting part of his current gimmick.

Between his downfall and Bray Wyatt's Face of No Fear because I am going to talk like I eat PCP for breakfast, do a spider walk and still lose, they have kinda screwed up two great newish guys.
