When I heard this announced, I was kinda "ehhhhh", but based on the trailer I'm feeling a bit more positive.

Watched the Their Time is Now special that came on after Flash and this show looks pretty good.

definitely a lot of potential for cool stories. jonah hex is apparently on the cards to pop up in a 'western' time-period episode at least, so i'd be down for exploration of the past and future. hawkman won me over during the crossovers last year, despite also not being sold on that initial promo pic. but they made it work, imo, so i'm pretty optimistic about this. looking forward to the premiere tomorrow

weird that they'd be looking at a solo hawkgirl show though, esp if they're working on a live-action vixen effort too, which is apparently happening. dunno; also hope captain cold still appears in the flash. too important a rogue to just go total hero and never bother barry again

I think it will get better in time. Everyone pretty much knew what the first episode would be and it was just an itroduction. I do think that this show will be the best of the CW shows by the end of the season. Alot of places for them to go and alot of different character angles for them to play with. Going to be tough to top The Flash though.

i marked out like a little kid. had forgotten they'd easter egg'd hourman's hourglass all season. also that was sgt rock in 1944/his helmet that they made a big deal out of. but we're yet to see ma hunkel (red tornado) or sandman, both of whom were teased earlier this season. maybe one or both of them next season? would like to see dr. mid-nite also. maybe bring curtis across from arrow, wildcat too if he is not dead (but i think he might be; they never really clarified). my ultimate hail-mary would be the inclusion of the suspected "real" jay garrick, aka henry allen of earth-2. THAT would be amazing.

likewise. i think it got a LOT better in its second half; i think the destruction of the oculus, removal of the time lords and completion of the savage/hawkpeople arc will do wonders for its prospects in season two. i'm not even that fazed by all the timey-wimey jargon, except when they really blatantly contradicted themselves (not a time-based example but they spent all season bitching about how martin and jax couldn't merge in the waverider without destroying it and then he did it probably twice during the season anyway with no adverse effects to the ship). also mick rory became one of my favourite characters, against all odds.

but yeah, crossing fingers for doctor mid-nite, sandman, booster gold and blue beetle to pop up at some stage. happy with sara, rory, ray, rip and firestorm. additional dream team includes potentials from constantine (he would be amazing, admit it), power girl (dunno how likely with supergirl on cw now), rehabilitated black siren, jay garrick (henry allen-2 -- this is still not confirmed so take it with as much salt as you want), mr terrific, jessie quick, maybe vixen (i know she's supposed to have a solo show coming up but w/e).

i just think a slightly rotated team + no savage = nothing but promise going forward.

Also being cast for “Legends” Season 2 is the female member of an elite paramilitary team living in the 1940s. An African-American, she is scrutinized in her time for both her gender and race and thus has worked twice as hard to be a perfect soldier. That said, she blames herself for — and aims to avenge — the death of a team member for whom she had repressed feelings.

First one sounds almost like it could be a version of Jack Knight.... as for the second one.... a version of Lady Blackhawk maybe?

Legends of Tomorrow continues to become more epic, Rip Hunter as an Enemy teamed up with Damien Darkh and Reverse Flash/Thaun, Kamelot was the best one yet.

With the the contract with warner works how ratings effect the DC shows is unique but as is it getting picked up for season 4 is looking less and less likely. If it drops below a .5 average by next seasons christmas break i garuntee its done.

Only emotional moment was Steins death. Nothing else was even remotely emotional and was forced. Propaganda is what these CW shows do all the time to push their political agenda. It the most prevalent on Supergirl. As someone who doesn't give a shit about politics I think it'd waste of time that could be used for something better. Not just fighting but actual character development instead of the relationship development. Hell they even do it relationship drama while they fight.

3/4 will def exist. If legends can keep the budget low It will be fine...big issue is cw has no spots in their line up and lowest performers must be cut so they can try new ideas...crazy ex is def the lowest though so legends will prob be fine...probably

If legends does move to fridays next season will take them to 88 eps. Thats becoming a new bench mark for syndication and will open them up to cancelation...season 5 will take them past 100...they wont sruvive that.

But this show wont do well in syndication imo so...whatever. they def are on a doomsday clock.

Feel like the characters found a "perfect balance" in season 2 with reducing Rip Hunter to recurring, adding Nate and Amaya, and getting rid of Hawkgirl and Snart.

They have lost Firestorm now, but they are gaining Kid Flash who already seems like he is going to be a better fit on this show than he ever was on Flash. Real glad he chopped off his man-bun, though.

I think he needs a spotlight episode though before he really feels like part of the team. Zari got some great spotlight in the ET episode and the Groundhog Day episode and now I "accept" her as fitting in with the team and "belonging".
