I want to make something clear here, too: I'm not a huge fan of Steen.

I personally feel about him the way I feel about HHH. BUT he's getting built and pushed like almost nobody else. They are creating a new star from a guy who made a name for himself on the indies instead of killing that momentum to make him a WWE creation from the ground up.

Its easier to take the proverbial ball and run with it when its a running play designed to be handed off to you. Its also better to get short gains over time than expect a touchdown every play.

With that said, I hope Owens succeeds, but I also hope they dont try to hotshot him into a main roster WHC win. Theyre doing fine building him how they're building him. They just need to treat other people the same way.

I'm usually indifferent toward the divas' characters and they've managed to make me care in a negative way. I can't see them without just thinking of them as the embodiment horrific writing.
