For some unknown reason, those two never mesh well in the ring together and the WWE either doesn't care or are completely obvious to that fact. Probably more on Sheamus' part since he also didn't mesh well with Del Rio in all the matches those two had.

Because while Creative likes 2 weeks per ppv, they still are bad at building stuff. Been a bit clear the only thing that's gotten any real focus for this ppv was Owens vs Cena II. Same like the EC ppv build was mostly just Rollins-Ambrose getting the real focus.

I did the same thing #1-wwf-fan did. Ew. Sounds like a pretty gross show. All the Money in the Bank competitors fighting each other basically cuts off all their momentum. Plus, Bray Wyatt should be winning that match, and he's not even in it.

Ambrose has come off pretty amazing, but he's probably going to lose at Money in the Bank and that will be that. Seth Rollins is probably leading us all on, but that just makes the faces look stupid...again. I love Mercury & Noble, but Mercury pinning the WWE World Champion in 2015? Do they want to be taken seriously. Rollins should make a call to Harper & Rowan and get real bodyguards. Bray Wyatt can then try and "liberate" Harper & Rowan from his control.

Owens and Cena has had a decent set-up. Owens defending the NXT Title twice more on WWE television makes the title seem hot, and when Balor wins it in Japan, it will be a big moment. Owens will have enough heat at that point to keep on chugging.

If he were constantly finding ways to win through being a cunning/chicken shit heel, that would be fine. As it stands, the guy holding the most coveted title in the company is a jobber. Do you even remember how he won the title? With the briefcase, and "jobber" COULD feasibly hold it. The fact that he has Authority's backing is what originally made him annoying ("YOU SOLD OUT!"), and now they're teaching him a lesson for lashing out at them a couple weeks ago and showing him that he DOES in fact need them. If he somehow manages to beat Ambrose clean (as clean as you can win a ladder match), then we have some different angles to look at. The seed of doubt was planted by The Authority, and now Seth really feels like he has something to prove.

Remember when Kane was talking about trying to show Seth how to be a REAL champion? This all still feels like part of that plan, and I'm interested to see how Sunday plays out. If you're not, I suppose you don't have to, but this definitely isn't the worst thing that has ever happened to us as fans. Plus, we'll get a good match.

Also, he was jobbing constantly before he was "being taught a lesson". One doesn't have to do with the other. It's not like he's jobbing to tell a story that's better in the big picture than your champion looking remotely credible.

"champion who isn't credible" is a shitty gimmick. It worked for the hardcore title in the 24/7 rule era because that was the gimmick of the title. It was meaningless but it didn't need meaning. It was a silly prop. It doesn't work for the title that you expect people to pay to see defended because it means so much.

I assume their intent is for people to actually wanna watch to see him get what's coming to him. I don't. I've seen him job enough. I could care less if he jobs again or what happens to the title at this point. I highly doubt I'm reacting as intended. lol

In any sport, absolutely every team in the league has a CHANCE at winning the championship. WWE's landscape has some obviously more corrupt circumstances to put certain teams in those positions, but that's just something you have to suspend as a wrestling fan.

Oh, I hate the Money in the Bank premise. At least the way it's been executed.

As far as the jobbers holding titles thing goes, on one hand the landscape does lend itself to the possibility.

On the other hand, unlike legit sports, you have the ability to script it so your championship can have prestige and be meaningful. So you should do everything in your power to make that happen.

The problem is that he is a credible champion that is portraying a non-credible champion. He had to do alot of stuff to prove his worth to be chosen by the Authority in the first place. He is like Wes Welker when he was on the Dolphins. He would destroy the Pats every time they played, so Belichick signed him up the first chance he got.

Maybe...just MAYBE...Seth has always been capable of being a legit champion, which is what The Authority saw in him in the first place. After he joined them, he started getting comfortable and resting on his laurels, knowing that no matter what happened, The Authority would have his back. Now that he lashed out at them a bit, they see that he needs a reminder of who is REALLY pulling the strings, so that's what happened Monday...and maybe, just MAYBE it'll be what Seth needs to remember why they wanted him in the first place. He may walk out of this as more of a "bad ass" than ever before.
