It's a pile of shit. It's basically a clone of the original Postal.

I guess, but I say that about almost anything.

I bought the game at full price, but the South Park game is going to be real low this year and it's like running a few episodes of South Park.

It didn't get good reviews because of the premise and people cringing about the "negative publicity".

It is more or less a mindless shooter with some pretty awesome executions. Loaded from the PS1 days and/or Postal are very similar.

Its all a fuckin' ruse guys. Youll buy a shit load of games on sale, probably never play them, most definitely wont beat them all. Youll get back logged for your money, and Steam racks in the dough, regardless.

Most of my Steam Games come from one Donation to Humble Bundle. I only bought it for one game but like it came with like 6. I've purchased a GTA package of all of the games (up to IV) I've played every game I intended to buy on steam.

I'll only get a game in the sale if I intended to buy it. I don't see it happening this time because I already got Game of Thrones.

Probably worth a small mention but apparently the sales for GTA V on Steam are not actually discounts but more closer to the normal price of the game and packs.

Apparently Rockstar jacked up the prices shortly before the Summer Sale so when they did the 30% discount, all it did was bring the price back down to the pre-jacked up price.

Also been discovered 2K Games might have done the same with the recent XCOMM game and its bundles/DLC.

Ruien

Bought XComm. It was like 7 dollars.

If they put a sale on the Star Trek old PC games I might be buying them. Not sure how much I'd play them if they aren't as good as I remember.

Well, that depends on how you look at it. I will be buying about 6 games or so this go around that look entertaining/good reviews to play until the next sale. I did this the last go around and ignored 2 of the games I bought because I did not like the game. I wasted maybe 8 dollars there (Although my girlfriend played one of the games for a few hours that I hated but whatever).

So you are correct, I bought 2 games I did not need. But I saved more money rather than buying the 4 games I did play a lot at full price.

I spent £44 on a £50 steam voucher and that's my budget for the entire sale.

I already own so much I might not end up spending it all though....

Wooo picked up Sir, You Are Being Hunted for $2.

RoXer

Crypt of the Necrodancer and Rogue Legacy both on sale BUT I've waited this long for them to go into a humble bundle (because you just know that's where they'll end up) so I can wait a little longer.

The Forest is on sale. Might grab that. A survival game (which is a genre I'm kinda MEH about) but with a cool aesthetic to it so I'm thinking of getting it.

Fun, but it pissed me off quite a bit. I seem to be the exception.

What is a humble bundle?

Picked up Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning. Played XCom last night for a hour and it was pretty good. I was only given 1 USA troop and is a scout on top of that. Does the game not know USA #1? Geez.

Hmmmm. I really wanted to grab Cities Skylines. And it's on sale now. But I'm so not in a rush to play video games. I could honestly wait until next year's summer sale because I have so many games to play.

$20... seems like I can wait.... right?

Rogue Legacy is fun as hell. Unforgiving 2D dungeon with your fallen heroes being succeeded by their children who have random powers and you level up a tower with stats to help you survive longer than your father/mother.

Last night I had a mage warrior female who had a beard, then a gay warrior who left fart smoke everywhere. Pretty good stuff.

Not really earth-shattering news since everybody already owns it, but just in case... Skyrim on for $5 daily deal right now
