I thought Drago put him out of his misery.

Or is this some prequel?

Nice. Looks like it has come full circle, and Rocky is now Mickey. "Yer a bum, Creed! Now catch that chicken!"

Wish they had given Kid Creed some of the "cockiness"/"flamboyance"/"extravagance" of his dad....

I know story-wise his dad wasn't there to impart him with these things, but still....

Probably will get that requisite "you're just like your father" moment from some personality traits. He might be "cocky", just not flashy with Ric Flair robes and such.

He does kinda look like he's in the pre-stages of a Carl Weathers pornstache, so that might be hereditary as well.

Creed, more like Greed to milk this old franchise again.

Looks boring.

0/10.

Dunno. Might be an "everything old is new again" sitch.

Remember, there's a whole generation who grew up with Star Wars in chronological (as opposed to "proper") order. They likely will not have seen Rocky in any iteration except maybe the last one, unless they have that one moviephile uncle who is willing to share their VHS box set, plus the one they begrudgingly had to get on DVD.

Who knows, Creed might become it's own box set, with sequels of Apollo's kid facing many fighters with stereotypical and/or punny names. And his "Rocky IV" nemesis will either be some North Korean fighter, or a middle eastern war machine (metaphorical) played by Mohammed Hassan, and we get an updated "you can change" speech after.
