Smackdown Spoilers for 7/16

[Emperor Smeat]

Dark Match:
Owen White defeated Kevin Owens in a Pokemon Charizard card on a Pole match. Owens didn't bother to show up for the match while the finish saw White do a dramatic climb to grab his card. Everyone in the audience was confused on what just happened since most had just arrived or were back from getting food.


Smackdown:
* Bray Wyatt kicks off the show with a promo in the ring. Roman Reigns interrupts on the big screen and brags about beating Wyatt all over Atlanta at RAW but says Bray ran. Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus and Big Show is announced as the main event.

* The Lucha Dragons vs. The New Day is up next with The Prime Time Players on commentary. Big E gets the win for his team by pinfall.

* Bad News Barrett defeated Jack Swagger with the Bullhammer. R-Truth came out after the match to cut a promo on Barrett and their match at the Battleground pre-show.

* Cesaro defeated Rusev in what was said to be a very good lengthy match.

* Neville defeated Stardust.

Backstage, Sasha Banks, Naomi & Tamina Snuka cut a promo as Team B.A.D., discussing the events from Raw.

* Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose b. Sheamus & Big Show by disqualification when Bray Wyatt interfered.

Seriously, though, it could've been interesting if they used "King" Truth to distract Barrett and get Swagger a win for once.

So that everyone can be jobbers? I like Swagger, but come on. The last thing they need to do is have MORE people trading wins and losing to everyone. It's not like one win over Swagger is going to rehab Barrett, but the opposite sure would have continued hurting him for no reason.

Sounds like a couple of good matches. Cesaro/Rusev should be good, and even if he lost, Rusev could still look good in a loss if the match is as long and as great as it sounds. Lucha Dragons + New Day should be great. Also, the Ambrose + Reigns buddy cop movie continues.

Big step up from last week. Definitely tape it, Shisen.

LOL, new guy...I've got news for ya...I've been sharing my views (a lot of them unpopular and/or different) on this site for (as of 8/14/15) 11 1/2 years.

Cesaro beating Rusev makes me mark out. Being the second guy to pin him is pretty impressive for the moment. They might have a rematch at Battleground.

I wish Swagger were given more of a push by the company. R-Truth is good and entertaining, but Swagger could be a major star for them under the right circumstances. I dunno, I just want more for Swagger.

Really can't understand their thought process. Rusev vs. Cesaro would be a great little addition to the PPV card, why give it away free? Sure they can do a rematch, but that's with the shine off a little.

If they are gonna do it on SmackDown, fucking advertise it on Raw! SD struggles for viewers (in comparison), give the Raw viewers an incentive to watch on Thursday.

And yes, that is a horrible acronym. I was once over at my friends' place long ago, when the APA were still around. Of course we all knew the real acronym, but somebody nust had to go and jokingly ask what the "real" acronym was, and someone else responded with "Always Pounding ..." well, I think you can all guess the last word there. Was so terrible that we were all cracking up good for a minute.

Dunno. "Don't shoot the messenger" kind of post really...WWE.com unfortunately has confirmed that the IC Triple Threat is OFF for Sunday. Dunno if they have alt. plans for Show and Miz or not.

It should be noted that Ryback may only be out for a matter of days, so he may yet be able to continue as IC Champ.

I'd still do a Triple Threat between Big Show, Miz and Cesaro. Ryback can play hurt for a while more and return for a monster push around WrestleMania time. Not that I really want to see that, but I want to make #1-wwf-fan happy.

The more I think about it, the less I'd actually mind seeing ShoMiz re-formed as a team. Neither has been doing much lately, and they might be fun to watch in the tag division if Ryback is going to be out for more than 1-3 months.
