Anyone watching this? New HBO miniseries from the creator of The Wire.
Just watched the first episode and it seems really good.
Mayor Nick Wasicsko took office in 1987 during Yonkers' worst crisis. When federal courts ordered public housing be built in the white, middle class side of town, it divided the city in a bitter battle fueled by fear, racism, murder and politics.
I like seeing all the different spots I grew up near in Yonkers, NY captured "on film." :)
Anyway, seems good... Feels like no one is gonna watch it though...
