View Full Version : SCG Radio #52 - NXT, Summerslam, Raw & Beyond
Just to drop this here (as posting it in the separate show threads seemed needless), the new Squared Circle Gazette Radio is up, as we talk all the major stories coming out of NXT, Summerslam and Raw this past week, and discuss all the possibilities moving forward. With a focus on mixed feelings on Brock Vs. Taker, a passionate debate on the realities of women's wrestling in NXT and WWE, Seth Rollins' title run, the fate of Kevin Owens and Cesaro, the absolute greatness of the New Day, great matches, interesting angles, WrestleMania 32 projections and much more, a rare "lay of the land" show, check it out and let us know what you think!

We definitely will be for this weeks show (and posting the question tonight), but we unfortunately had less time for the recap episode (about half the length of last weeks mega show) so figured we wouldn't be able to do the feedback justice. Never fear, feedback heavy episode this week, and think it'll be a fun one...

In terms of the main event, the only two things I really disagree with is, number one, you could have Undertaker lose, and still have reason for a third match at Wrestlemania if that was the plan, with Undertaker challenging Lesnar with the need to know, and putting his career on the line to establish how serious he is about wanting to finally beat Lesnar.
Number two, if they really wanted to go with the eventual ending, they should've made the tap out far more obvious. The way they did it was completely confusing. Had Taker just blatantly tapped, with no bell ring with everything else following the same, it would've been much better. The way it went down however was a complete cluster fuck.
You absolutely can do the third match if Taker lost at Summerslam, don't get me wrong, its just that to me, if you do it that way, Taker has to win the third and final match because that becomes the story. This way, Brock can win the third, and I'm down with that.

Taker could always just lose for a third time at Mania, like Michaels did, and call it a day. At least with that angle, going into it with two losses in a row, you now have a belief that he couldn't possibly lose three in a row and be retired by Lesnar.
I dunno. Feel like losing three in a row to a guy he's never beaten, ever, would a better story than whatever is now planned.

Just wanna say you guys have become my favorite podcast & have been getting me through some really shit-tastic work days lately. The dynamic between all of you is amazing. Just tell Old Man Jones to lay off my boy Kane a bit, k? ;)

Haven't listened to the podcast yet, but Damian Rey brings up some good points. That's apparently how Lance Storm would have booked it too.

Thanks very much man, really appreciate hearing that you enjoy it. And I'll see what I can do about Old Man Jones.
