Breaking News: Shooting Takes Place at the WWE Performance Center; Victim Taken to the Hospital

wweWESH Orlando News is reporting an unnamed person was hospitalized after a shooting outside the WWE Performance Center in the Azalea Park section of Orlando.

Fire officials are saying the person was hospitalized after suffering a gunshot wound earlier this afternoon. The report says medics were called to the scene at 5055 Forsyth Commerce Road – the address for the WWE Performance Center – around 1:45 p.m.

The patient was taken to the nearby Orlando Regional Medical Center; further details were not immediately available.

Triple H posted the following comments via Twitter regarding the shooting that took place at the WWE Performance Center today:

"Unfortunately a deranged individual with no WWE affiliation, who had a court order prohibiting him from being on WWE property was involved in an incident with an Orange County Sherriff's deputy in the parking lot of the WWE Performance Center. We defer to the Orange County Sherriff's department for further comment and information."

Additionally, MyNews13 reports that deputies responded to the Performance Center for a trespassing call. This person was previously arrested at the location and Triple H noted that the man was not supposed to be there.

Sheriffs said and there was some sort of altercation and the deputy felt he needed to draw his weapon and fire at the man. The man's identity have not been revealed.

TMZ.com has confirmed the man who was involved in the WWE Performance Center shooting today is in fact Armando Alejandro Montalvo.

Montalvo was arrested once before on August 4th after an incident which took place at the Performance Center. Additionally, Montalvo has had numerous, violent run-ins with WWE, and was even accused of spreading his own feces and urine on the walls of the Performance Center.

TMZ also noted Montalvo allegedly showed up at the WWE Performance Center in the past dressed in a wrestling outfit and was banging on the windows of the facility. Montalvo was threatening to “kick everyone’s ass” because WWE would not offer him a job. Police have had to subdue Montalvo at gun point in the past.

Lita was supposedly the female wrestler being stalked based on recent reports.

Police revealed that Montalvo had prior incidents at the center leading up to Monday’s shooting and was obsessed with an unnamed WWE talent. While no name was revealed during the press conference yesterday, we can now confirm that Montalvo was obsessed with WWE Hall of Famer Lita, who was working at the Performance Center for WWE Tough Enough.

Anyway, there's a video on that guy's Facebook page where he talks about how he got fired from his job and that he didn't make it to NXT or Tough Enough but that he'll keep trying.

I can't seem to post it here but I will say what happened in it.

He then talks about Dusty Rhodes passing away and then he pretends to have a conversation with Dusty, with himself playing the role of Dusty, but all he does is put on some glasses and attempts to imitate him, lisp and all.

He then thanks Dusty for everything and says he'll "add his name to the wall". He then grabs a pen, and writes Dusty's name on the wall behind him, which is a plain white wall with loads of writing on it, some wrestling names, but also some of dead celebrities such as 2Pac and Michael Jackson. Along with that, he has pieces of paper with scribbles on it, duct taped the wall too.

He then talks back to the camera while holding the American Flag and vows to one day, "take all the fake wrestlers out of the ring". He then says "Hey Goldie" and proceeds to do Stardust's thing where he holds his hands up to his face and after that he chuckles to himself.

He's about to turn the camera off when he remembers something and says "Oh yeah, Cody Rhodes, remember when I was working security at WrestleMania and I reached out to shake your hand, and you gave me a look that said "Do I really have to shake his hand?", hey man, you were lucky enough to shake my hand".

He then turns the camera off.

To me, the guy may be a bit crazy.
