K here's the deal. I never fully watched this movie because, for some reason, I didn't think I would be able to sit through it. You see, it's almost four hours long and I tried to watch it in the past and couldn't get past the first twenty or so minutes.
But, I finally tried again last night and holy shit, this movie is incredible.
Good job, Supreme, I will take your word more often.

What exactly is cut out in the US edition?
They cut almost like two hours out of it. I dunno how they did that.

I don't know what they cut, I haven't seen the cut version.
But the uncut version is one long ass film.

I saw Croupier on TV earier this week. Apparently it bombed here but got a cult following in the US. Good film.

i dunno. i usually see a movie that i really like with an actor who really impressed me and then ill look him up on imdb do see what else he did. then i'll check out the ones that interest me. all of those mentioned above are because i saw popular movies that i liked (a clockwork orange, the shining, blue velvet, midnight cowboy) and investigated other stuff that the lead guy did. also i got alot of friends that are movie buffs that recommend cool stuff.

Straw Dogs was pretty messed up for its time but its a good movie. And Easy Rider rules.
I enjoyed Croupier myself. Clive Owen is the man but the film itself is a bit slow at times, and black and white which for some reason turns people off.
