Live! From the sold-out Toyota Center in Houston, Texas the UFC presents UFC 192: Cormier vs Gustaffson. (BTW Kris this is your job but i got your back yet again) Anyway!
Pretty good card to say the least. (Would be better if Jones was back) But anyway let's get to the fights people will actually watch.
Johny Hendricks vs Tyron Woodley: I'm gonna have to go with Woodley in this one! I think Woodley's going to wrestle with Hendricks and basically smother him the whole fight. Hendricks is too slow now while Woodley is one of the most athletic guys in the UFC. He's fast, athletic, explosive, and has some of the best mma wrestling and will batter Hendricks the whole fight.
Woodley via Decision.
Evans vs Bader: This is a no brainer. I'm going with Rashad in dominant fashion. I think it's gonna goto the judges but with Rashad winning the fight Unanimously. I think Baders overrated and has really done nothing significant to actually make a statement or impose a threat to anyone in the top 5.
Evans via Decision.
Cormier vs Gustaffson: I have to go with Cormier in this one. And I know what your gonna say "but Gustaffson almost beat Jones" What some of you need to understand it's about matchups. Gustaffson vs Jones everyone knows is going to be a stanup fight and Gustaffson is a standup fighter which is why he had alot of success against Jones also because he's 6"5. Now Cormier is a way different fighter than Jones. Cormier can stand with you and he can also get down and dirty with his elite wrestling. Now I don't think it's smart for Cormier to stand with Gustaffson because the last time Cormier standed with someone he almost got knocked out (Anthony Johnson) and also got defeated by Jones but I see Cormier winning this fight by taking Gustaffson down mutliple times and eventually submitting him. Gustaffson ahs had trouble in the past with wrestlers(Phil Davis) and I don't see this being any different especially since Comrier is on another level compared to Davis in wrestling.
