View Full Version : SCG Radio #56 - The Monday Night War Timeline: 1997 Q3
Just to drop this here, the latest Squared Circle Gazette Radio is up (after a three week absence), as we talk from July to September of 1997 in our Monday Night War Timeline. Complete with notes from the Wrestling Observer Newsletters of the time, we discuss the peak and beginning of the end for the Hart Foundation, US Vs. Canada, Shawn Michaels turns heel, Arn Anderson retires and the nWo's parody, Lex Luger wins the WCW World Title, Steve Austin suffers a major injury and gives Vince McMahon his first Stunner, Raw changing timeslot, Nitro trying out a three hour show, and all the facts, figures, pay-per-views and major angles and events of the period. A great look back as always, check it out and let me know what you think!

Hate to say, but the Monday Night Wars are so over talked about now.......
Typically speaking I'd agree, but the series has been awesome for the stuff people don't know coming to light (such as the original plan for Undertaker's secret not to be Kane, but a returning Papa Shango), that it's not so much rehashing talking points, but adding a different perspective, it's been more fun than I expected.

These guys do it a lot better and are a lot more insightful than most of the that's talking about it and it's a way different angle than you get from the official source.
