Not shocked that Akuma is in as a guest character, but they made him canon? Fucking hell. Kinda pissed off he's in this and not Street Fighter for at least a year though.

Actually the principle gameplay is done and Harada's holding off until after SFV and T7 drops. But you may be correct he's a good sign of his TxSF asset if not exactly that.

So going into this, Kazumi is the only new character I was looking forward to, and boy howdy did she deliver. Really fun character. That said, first impressions of the others are better than I thought. None of them grab me like Kazumi, I might try a couple out now, as they feel pretty good.

Regardless, it's LITERAL tiger uppercuts all day, son.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed too. Trailers made the story out to be way more interesting than it turned out to be. Also, wtf is up with Kazumi? What even is she? How does she know Heihachi will cause destruction? Nothing about her is explained. And we don't find out where the devil gene came from like promised. We just find someone who had it before kazuya, and its still not explained what it is or where it came from.

Also, good lord that narrorator was not interested. He made peter dinkledge in destiny sound exuberant by comparison.

They're patching it in gradually and I think for free. There's a Kenny Omega X Bryan Fury thing already announced.

Tekken customization was always kinda weak compared to SoulCalibur, which is strange since they are basically sister titles. All the tshirts are kinda eh (and would have been rendered moot with a decal feature), and the actual clothing options being mainly upper body/lower body is poor. And yeah the severely cut down hair options is baffling. 'You can get jenga on your head, tho'. Ugh.

Also most of the universal clothing options ill fit the characters (oversized, puffy shirts and pants) and look jarring compared to the 1 or 2 extra sets of unique clothing for characters (well fit, natural looking). Again SoulCalibur had universal pieces and they all fit well on the character models no matter the body type. In fact I do not know why they don't emulate exactly how it works in SoulCalibur.

She's one of the few dance-fighting type characters that really does look like she's dancing your ass to death. And some of her follow-ups are actually based on rhythmic timing.

Highly considering getting a stick for this. Spent more time playing tekken at the arcade than at home, so that's what I'm comfortable with.

Tekken Bowl mode currently rumored to be arriving this summer based on recent digging of files from the PC version.

Some inquisitive gamers have done a bit of digging through the files on the PC version of Tekken 7 and found a list of potential DLC packs. The absence of Tekken Bowl is going to make a lot of sense now, especially since it is seemingly scheduled to be the $10 mode added this summer.

As for who the extra characters are, no names were present in the data. There were placeholder files to get ready for the eventual drop, but the only real data that could potentially clue us in to who is getting added is that the first character has a meter system similar to Akuma and Eliza. Does that mean another Street Fighter character will be added to the game?

Regarding the costumes that Namco Bandai intends to add, it looks like an Idolmaster pack, Swimsuits and School uniforms are all we're going to be getting. I remember when those were free for Tekken Tag Tournament 2, so I don't know why anyone would suddenly want to pay for that. Those costumes were also in the Arcade version of Tekken 7, so this seems kind of underhanded to be ripped out and sold back to gamers.

Also rumor of PS4 exclusive content possibly arriving for other platforms.

Currently only planned for japanese arcades. Going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it will eventually be on console in all regions....because thats a baffling decision otherwise.
