TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan By Platinum Games

It's been rated by the Aussie ratings board (got an M, but that's like a US T), Activision publishing so it sounds like it's going to be another one of those budget games they do, but after Transformers, I don't give a fuck.

Considering how 80's the Transformers game looked, I can't wait to see how this one is.

But if this isn't 4plyrs it's Auto Fail. This is Platinum's second shot at a multiplayer action game, I know they can do it. And who better than the Turtles.

It's too much to explain now but make no mistake the casual-fication, feature lite, marketing over substance trend of modern gaming is direct correlation with letting hacks, pretenders, and cons get by unchallenged.

Very few of the games today would be praised by 90s/2000s games media. Today's media has content access, they're in the ear of publishers, who then give orders to studios. So when AssCreed Unity comes out more broken than AssCreed 2, games media speaks more about a playable women and a transgender NPC than the fact. Until the issue is unavoidable (reader complaints).

You can ignore it and play your games. I will play my games and call it out. I do both just fine.

Anyway P*'s B-Team is consistent. Korra and Transformers are functional action games, though lacking the big budget features of a Bayonetta or DMC. But they make it up with loads of style and slick combat.
