For fuck's sake, Hollywood! The man's body isn't even cold yet, you fucking vultures... This reboot craze needs to stop. Some things need to just stay classics.

Sequel. Not a reboot. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the rumors of a sequel that popped up a couple years ago.

I have a feeling this film will be a saddening bore; UNLESS it has the following things in the movie:
Sailors fighting in the dance hall
Cavemen going
Lawmen beating up the wrong guy
That'll make it the freakiest show
only then will this remake be hunky dory.

This. I saw a list of supposed movie posters of films launching- in order of launch (most of which were not even ANNOUNCED at the time) and thought Labyrinth 2 seemed kinda suspect. Even before Bowie died. And then to show up again randomly a couple of hours after the sad announcement...)
However, given how movies are planned most of the time, it is quite possible this shit was already in the can, or at least being shot to make a movie poster plausible and not just an internet hoax.
And to be fair, the list had a couple of things I called bullshit on the first time I saw it, and have since been advertised.
