For now I'm pointing towards Kevin Owens. Will he appear at fastlane?
My other rumored match's would be teaming with Kane.
It's a good thing this isn't covered in the WrestleMania 32 card predictions or news threads. Nope, definitely not covered there.
hope he faces the truth and fuckin retires already

Undertaker comes out to cut a promo at Raw leading up to WM. Ryan Clark comes out and starts flapping his gums speculating about who Undertaker is about to challenge. Undertaker looks mildly annoyed and is about to say something OMINOUS AND DANGEROUS then the lights in the arena go out and a bale of hay appears at Undertaker's feet. A cloaked figure appears standing on top of the TitanTron, much to the chagrin of The Undertaker. The figure LEAPS down into the ring and lands in the bale of hay, causing Undertaker to lose track of him. More cloaked figures appear around the arena and Ryan Clark pulls off a silicone mask to reveal a cloaked hood beneath as well! Ryan Clark is an Assassin. The other Assassins gather around the ring and surround Undertaker. Undertaker presses down+B and summons his motorcycle a la Wario and screeeeeeeches out of the ring while American Bad-ass plays over the speakers.
Weeks of promos between Clark and Undertaker ensue. Wrestlemania match ends up being an Assassin's Match that pits Hooded Ryan Clark vs Biker Taker with the Assassin's Creed (stable name) barred from ringside.
This'll sell tickets.

The rule of an Assassin's Match are that you have to assassinate your opponent via a series of bladed weapons.

Any chance of Cena being back? If so - Cena should face Taker and retire Taker. If not this year, then another year.
For this year, just have a crap match where Taker goes over Braun Strowman.

I'm not entirely sold on John Cena missing WrestleMania. I don't want to sound like too much of a "it's a swerve" smark, but details about Cena's injury have been kept suspiciously quiet, and the dude is superhuman. I'd like it if they kept him off WrestleMania to give him a chance to recharge anyway. The WWE needs to be able to do big shows without John Cena.
The latest mumblings are that Dean Ambrose might possibly win the Fastlane Triple Threat and Roman Reigns might face Taker. Hmm. That does lead one to put Taker vs. Dean Ambrose under consideration as well. As I said in another thread, if you take out Cena from the equation, your top three matches are going to consist of configurations of the following guys: Roman Reigns, Triple H, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt. It's just fitting them into three singles bouts or two singles bouts and a Triple Threat.

Considering what happened last night, it seems they could be going in a new direction with Ambrose.
I actually think him and Lesnar would be a really good match and the build to that would have already started. Keep Reigns and HHH as is.
Have Wyatt's take out Takers friends in the business, culminating in a demolition of Kane. Have a more human Taker be incensed that he is not around to stop Wyatt and they are able to lure him into a match.
Would be an awesome moment to have Taker abandon the hat and coat half way to the ring and just run down and start taking out the Wyatt's in his home state. A complete one off, and could show what the Wyatt's had put him through.
You could then do an undercard match with the 3 injured Taker friends against the remaining Wyatts

Unfortunately, there's a very sizeable chance Cena will be back? He sent out a tweet on Monday, I believe it was, saying something about "the nexy 2 weeks will be intense" or something. I REALLY hope it's not true. Not just because of my disdain for him, but also how many fucking more injuries does he think he can rush back from? Seriously, dude's pushing 40.

Their previous Mania encounters were excellent matches. I don't really see them doing it again, but worse things have happened I guess.

The more I think about it, the more I think that is the sexiest thing they co do as far as card structure goes. Reigns is going to get booed to heck, right? Why not put him against a legend in his hometown? People will be biting on to every Reigns sequence and if Reigns hits the Spear on Taker? Forget about it.
Mr. Nerfect
02-19-2016, 08:08 PM
I don't like Brock vs. Bray. I really don't. But with that being said, I think it could be used to turn Bray face pretty effectively. Have Bray tell The Family he wants to do this on his own, and then have him go out there and get the piss beaten out of him by Brock -- Bray laughing the whole time. It'd be like the main event last year, only Bray is a better performer.

Quite an apt topic to plug The Wrestling Wreview's latest show.
This weeks show focuses on who The Undertaker's opponent for Wrestlemania 32 could be. The Deadman himself is inextricably linked with the "Grandaddy of them all", so it's unusual that with WWE Fastlane just around the corner, we do not know who the WWE have up their sleeves for the Undertaker.
