So basically just like every other third-rate wrestler he ripped off a move from more successful workers.

So new reports indicate he went into cardiac arrest in his car. No drugs found in the car. He put his body through a lot. Maybe it just shut down.

Not as good as my tribute thread for former ECW competitor Hack Meyers. Needs more (pictured above).
3/7.
Oh, and RIP, dude who died. Hope you're mixing it up with ol' Hack up in Heaven right now. :'(

LOL. Seriously though. I knew OF him and to a lesser extent his career, just not very much. Still sad news, obviously. I sincerely hope that last tweet he sent out wasn't an indication that he committed suicide. Such a horrible, messy way to go.

Pretty much everything I know about him comes from ECW documentaries and such. As far as I can tell his biggest claim to fame in the wider wrestling world comes from the fact that he was the guy Mass Transit was filling in for.

Dead in a McDonald's parking lot. Fitting.
He was garbage. A fat drug addict with no skills that represents a bad part of a past era.
That said, too bad it wasn't Ian.

If there was ever a guy that did nothing to deserve his "spot" it was him. Third tier at best in ecw but lives off that name. Literally he was the less talented part of a tag team with balls Mahoney. Let that sink in.

He had mentioned during his appearance on Talk is Jericho last year that he had been 5 years clean. The last reported drug incident for Axl before that was at the TNA Hardcore Justice show in 2010, where most of the ECW alumni were pissed off at him from showing up at that show drugged out.
Basically it sounds like he was a dead man walking. Not even 5 (close to 6 now) years of being clean were enough to stop the eventual shut down.
