WrestleMania 32 officially the largest crowd in WWE history
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that WWE has already officially broken the company record for live event attendance with Wrestlemania 32. According to sources that have access to direct numbers, 84,000 tickets have gone out as of March 8th. We are not sure if this includes the standing room only tickets available in AT&T stadium, of which 20,000 will exist for WrestleMania.
The previous record was 79,127 tickets for Summerslam 1992. Before that, Wrestlemania 3 was the record with 78,000 as the real attendance and 93,000 became the worked number.

You're not a Meltzer sheep, but you're probably pretty gullible anyway, especially when the McMahon's float a few hundreds under your nose.

I was at WM23 and there was definitely over 80K people there. I counted everyone during the hall of fame announcement.

I hope 15,000 don't show up, more Mania for me. Just going to see the Attitude Era stars anyways. None of the matches are unique, seen them all on RAW.

There's about 100000000 different excuses/"reasons" the WWE brass will give you for constantly giving away matches on RAW and essentially automating and mass producing their product so that VERY FEW things mean anything anymore. But if the writing was up to par they wouldn't need to give away every single match that could ever happen.
Honestly think they should have 3 hours of new content a week. Anything else should be recap shows or showcase shows aka superstars.
RAW 2 hours, Smackdown 1 hour. Less is more.

,,,,, yeah, all I know is I'm going to WrestleMania and I have things that are catered to me so if the show nosedives at least I'll be happy with everything. The possibility of Seth Rollins, Orton, Cesaro and Cena showing up and igniting the Shane v.s. Vince feud intrigues the hell out of me.

Think rule of thumb is usually subtract 10k-20k and you get the real number for big WWE shows. WWE even goes as far as fluffing up house show numbers as well.

It's not really the largest crowd until they assemble. The Zika virus could kill half of them for all we know.

Odd that the "inside sources" on Mania got a paid attendance figure of 78,000. Pretty interesting that it was right on an even thousand for paid attendance. You would think if they actually had inside info they would know the real paid number for Mania 3. I don't doubt the number WWE put on TV was a worked number. But 78k is just as worked of a number.
