I would have to say in my opinion its definitely WrestleMania 2000. Why?
The main event was too cluttered there was too many people involved and it just didn't have that epic feel that it should have had with 4 great stars that were all wrestling in their prime. It would've been better as two separate matches or even as one match but without the mcmahons and others at ringside.
It actually reminds me a lot of the CHW title match between Swede Savard and Xacutor. It was a handcuff match which looked brilliant on paper and a hot. It was also two stars on top of their game. However, CHW put too many eggs in one basket and had to have Team Fuck The World get involved and attack Swede and the match became a clusterfuck and the whole build up was ruined!
If you want to catch a replay of this match from history, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_uyeY9gKU0
Anyway that's my opinion on the worst WrestleMania main event!

Wrestlemania 2. Hogan vs Bundy had no lasting impact and no entertainment value whatsoever. The whole Bret/Hulk/Yokozuna debacle at least had a sense of a pop in the moment; LT/Bam Bam had a decent build and anywhere else on the card would have been a solid attraction match; the WM2000 at least decently showcased the company's top stars even if they sort of drowned in the overbooking. Hogan vs Bundy was just utter garbage even down to the commentary.

I'd take Hogan/Bundy over LT/Bam Bam
Bam Bam Bigelow vs Lawrence Taylor
Hulk Hogan vs Yokozuna
John Cena vs The Miz

Couldn't go LT-Bam Bam because it was at least a major "attraction". My first thought was to go with Cena-Miz but then I remembered...

The Sid main events aren't good, but they are better than Cena/Miz. That is just the worst.

Triple H vs Jericho at WM X8. Hogan vs Rock was so good and should have ended the show. No one cared about this match. I should know, I was there.

At least Cena-Miz' non-finish was just a tease. How the fuck do you end WrestleMania with a DQ?

Firstly, that was a damn fine match for the truncated build.
Secondly, it wasn't the main event for that IYH, Shawn v. Taker was.

Triple H v Orton at Mania 25, anyone? Was bored to shits. The build was fucking good and the match was just a big pile of bleh. Hitting finishers to open the match, a dead crowd, no run ins despite the respective posses being uber involved in the build.
Cena Miz was awful.

Hogan/Yokozuna at WM IX...how this is even a question is beyond me.

The worst matches in WM main event history ....
Hogan/Bundy
Hogan/Sid
Bret/Yoko/Hogan
Bam Bam/LT
Sid/Taker
Miz/Cena
....................
Now I personally would disqualify Hogan/Bundy and Bret/Hogan/Yoko from the worst list. The story of Bret/Yoko was great and the surprise of Hogan coming in was unique for the time, but it was really stupid and made no sense considering being a number one contender was a big deal at the time and you can't just run in and get a title shot like that without Jack Tunney's say so. But the bottom line for me is the main event was Bret/Yoko and that match had a great story, just like WM 10 did.
Hogan and Sid was really lame and came off incredibly anti clamatic, and really should not have been the final match considering Savage and Flair had a classic and the baby won that match, should have closed the show.
Miz/Cena to me is absolutely one of the worst... just fucking horrible with the Miz as the champion at that point.
LT/Bam Bam .... I didn't see this show live, but I think I'd have been incredibly turned off by it. I wouldn't have known who LT was, and I wouldn't have cared. Also, why the fuck is Bam Bam in the main event of Wrestlemania? WM 11 is probably the most tragically booked Wrestlemania of all time. There are so many ways to reshuffle the deck for this card it's just unreal they went the way they did.
Sid/Taker just wasn't good, but I don't think it is any worse than Bundy/Hogan or LT/Bam Bam or Miz/Cena.
So to me for the worst main events I'd say LT/Bam Bam takes the cake followed by Miz/Cena.

tbh I remember enjoying it when I was a kid. People shit on it too much. It's the rest of the card (barring the half decent Michaels/Diesel match) that blew a bag of ass.

Mania 1 Main Event is over rated and should at least get mentioned here. If not for the significance of being the 1st one that may win hands down
Triple H Orton should have been a lot better as well . The Stipulation put on that match killed it. Their fued should have ended with a No DQ or Streetfight type match not one where HHH had to contain himself so he doesn't get Disqualified.
I'll go Miz Cena. A match built around someone who wasn't even in it (Rock)

I expected people to mention Wrestlemania 1 but I disagree. It's a really exciting match with a sizzling hot crowd. I used to think that WM 1 sucked when I was a kid but it didn't looking back, it was a super card and it was pretty awesome for the time.

It comes off rather realistic which is good and no its not boring like Undertaker/Sid but it had no business closing the show.
I love fantasy booking WM 11...
I'd have kept the LT/Bam Bam match sure why not, but it's the semi-main not the closer.
I really think this would have been the perfect PPV to debut the Triple Threat match with Bret/Diesel/Shawn. Would have been awesome.

For what it was, LT-Bam Bam wasn't all that bad. For me, it's a toss up between Bundy-Hogan and Yoko, Bret, Hogan.

When I was a kid around 95/96 it was really hard for me to get a hold of the early Wrestlemania's. I think they had 3, 5, 6, 10, 11... so I had to really hunt for the others. When I saw WM 1 I was bored to tears and sorely dissapointed and disconnected. WM 2 was much more entertaining to me at that age (12ish). And since there was color in the cage match at WM 2 I was pretty into it at the time. I'm not about to go watch Bundy/Hogan but I am tempted to rewatch Hogan/Mr. T vs Piper/Orndorff.

It's hard to judge stuff from that era as "stand alone" events. When you look at the stuff leading up to Wrestlemania 1 and then watch the Orndorff/Piper vs Hogan/T your opinion my change of the match.

Well what I was trying to say is that now, watcing WM 1's main event it's really a fantastic tag match. It's kind of the WWF standard main event tag in that era, but super exciting and hot with all the celebs and crazy crowd energy.

Check out Piper kicking Cyndi Lauper from the War to Settle the Score. I've never seen a WWF crowd that insane.
