AJ in a match for the WWE title sounds great but when its against Roman it kind of drains all the excitement out of it. Enzo and Cass are about the only NXT guys of the bunch that I think should have been called up. I like Apolo and Corbin but feel they still needed time in NXT. Don't really understand not calling Bayley up after having her drop the title but the place would have fucking exploded had she. Guess Raw after Mania is going to be NXT call up night. Shane Raw really didn't feel any different than Authority Raw though so I hope Shane gets some more time.

Just reading through the results. I'll go back and check out some of the debuts. Love me some Crews/Enzo and Cass. I'm always leery about how guys will be used on the main roster but they still deserve the call up. Glad the Vaudevillians are evidently getting called up too. Love those guys.

I can't say I feel bad for Ryder. He stumbled ass-backwards into a Mania match after doing nothing for years and then actually won the thing. So he'll always have that moment. I'm happy for him, since I really think they gave him the shaft in 2012 when he was getting super over in the midcard only for them to kinda toss him into a Cena storyline and then make him look like a total bitch at WM28. This more than made it up to him I'm sure.

That said, everybody knew he would drop it a night later. Ryder himself probably knew it before he even got backstage yesterday. It does amuse me that rather than put it on a new guy or something they're trying to jumpstart a Miz midcard push for the 800th time but at least Miz is good and hey, anything that evidently gets Maryse back on TV is a good thing. I feel bad for Ryder, besides being able to make himself arguably the most over guy in the company back in 2011, he's got some solid skills in the ring, and has been looking super jacked lately. He really delivered in that match with the Miz. If him dropping the title leads to a storyline that will draw out for a couple of months then it'll be good. It probably won't. I'm gonna take a break from wrestling for a month or two now, so I'll have to catch up at some point and see how it went.

Cesaro being back is fantastic though! Main event was incredible. It's a shame we don't get quality main events like this every week.

Most of the show didn't feel like a post-Mania Raw. Just felt like another typical Raw with a couple of debuts. I look forward to Enzo/Cass and the Vaudevillains going nowhere.

I still just have no interest in watching this for 3 hours a week. That's too long. Even HHH/Steph have acknowledged that the extra hour adversely impacts the quality of the product. Unfortunately though now they're in too deep and can't reverse course.

Feel like they tried to appease the crowd with NXT call ups. I like Crews and Corbin but feel they had more to do in NXT. Really wanted Corbin to get a key win and go after the NXT title. Crews is great but when they have Samoa Joe in NXT without much direction now after losing to Finn again I'd rather have him. Really liked Enzo and Cass, hadn't watched a lot of them as I skip around NXT but damn does Enzo have some mic skills. Feel like the Vaudevillians are going to be the next Los Matadores though.
