But I straight up lose sleep for their late night stuff - I just hate that they have to take so many breaks to set up new panels and such.

But I like hearing old men talk about video games, I guess. I don't really pay attention to any other coverage anywhere. I used to go to Gametrailers for some of their video content, but I know the GB guys too well now to care about hearing analysis from anyone else. Current rumors regarding Bethesda's press conference:

According to multiple sources, Bethesda will show off sequels for Prey, Evil Within, and Wolfenstein: The New Order at E3. The latter I totally get as they even followed it up with the highly successful and well-received Old Blood (plus it was basically confirmed already), but Prey is rumored to appear at every E3, and with Evil Within's mixed welcome, I'd be shocked to see a sequel.

But the biggest bombshell that will go over with the crowd is probably a Skyrim remaster, which will reportedly include mod support on consoles (just like Fallout 4), improved visuals, and all of the DLC in a GOTY-like fashion -- that might sell more than all of the above combined.

Well, I doubt we'll see Cyrodiil (aka The Imperial Province). It served as the setting of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and interestingly (or not), it is the capital province of all Tamriel, with the capital located in the Imperial City, from where the Emperor reigns.

I'd enjoy seeing a future game set in a province that hasn't been done yet with perhaps its additional content set there, though. Could be really cool if done right, especially to see how the Imperial City has changed since the end of Oblivion.

EA's presser was boring as all hell, but it wasn't nothing. Titanfall 2 and Battlefield are something, though I won't play either.

The one who leaked Ubisoft's lineup is claiming he won't because of respect and/or not wanting to spoil stuff for others. Didn't have a problem with earlier press conferences but did imply Sony is the only conference he actually cares about today.

One game though did get leaked so far for Sony's press conference later tonight from Reddit so probably the best to avoid that site till the event for those that don't want to be spoiled.

I watched Sony, EA, and Ubisoft at my buddy's last night.


I don't know who's been putting together the press conferences for Sony the past few years. But once again, they knocked it out of the park. They pretty much got the formula figured out. 90% trailers/demos, 10% everything else. The 1-2 punch of God of War and the release date of The Last Guardian pretty much sealed it up.


The bit of info they gave for their VR, and the Batman, Space game (don't remember the title), and Resident Evil coming out, I knew my reservation was a good decision. I can't wait.

Insomniac handling the new Spider-Man game gives me hope it returns to it's roots.

Hideo Kojima is just one weird motherfucker. That Death Stranding trailer really made me scratch my head and just say "da fuck was that?" But cool to see the Norman Reedus partnership still lives.

Ubisoft.........on the other hand.

While we watched the replay and just skipped through the boring stuff, 2 hours long and this is what I came up with: It wasn't a press conference. More like a pitch to everybody watching, the gaming industry in attendance, investors around the world. "We need your money.......now! Or Vivendi is going to take over."


Between getting games from all ages from kids to adults crammed in, to promoting the new Assassins' Creed movie (and soon Watchdogs movie), and finish it off some ski/snowboarding game which I'm not really interested in, I think Ubisoft is really scared right now and are doing everything they can to stave off this takeover.

Super excited for Ghost Recon: Wildlands, that looked awesome. Bit of a gut punch it's coming out in March.

- It's an action game
- Game setting is still secret
- Kojima won't say the name of the main character
- Game will take "some time" to make, don't expect it soon
- Game name is related to the stranding of something that is dead, like a whale on a beach, something from some other world comes to a new place

p.s.______Speaking of NHL 94', was that the game where Roenick was the highest rated player in the game? My memory is fading now. It was either 93' or 94' (or possibly both). Roenick was off the charts amazing in one (or both) of those games.

Dunno...I just remember EA made NHL, Madden NFL and NBA Live all the way up to the '98 editions for Genesis/SNES consoles and thinking how crazy that was since they could easily focus exclusively on PS and N64.

During Giantbomb's E3 Day 2 show going on right now, Phil Spencer confirmed the Xbox One Scorpio basically requires a 4K tv in order to take advantage of everything it will offer.

Revealed they are leaving everything up to developers in regards to how they want to develop games for the upgraded model. Only real requirement being those games must be also be playable on the original Xbox One model. Did tease at downgrading likely going to happen the most between Scorpio optimized games and regular Xbox One games.

Also clarified the "Play Anywhere" feature being emphasized on making people as comfortable as possible when playing cross-platform play with friends. Like the Scorpio, they are also leaving everything up to developers on how they want to work it into their games. Spencer revealed Rocket League was a big inspiration for this new feature.

I know thatm I was just saying considering the general lack of any real amount of shows broadcast in UHD, this will give people who only use them as Smart TV's the possibility to get more mileage out of their new sets...help them "pay for themselves" at a slightly more accelerated rate, if you will.
