WWE is saddened to learn that Chris Warren, the lead singer best known for the D-Generation X theme “Break It Down,” passed away Sunday. He was 49.

Warren’s voice epitomized the essence of WWE’s Attitude Era in the late ‘90s; his distressed, screeching rendition of “Break It Down” to this day remains synonymous with the famed faction, and is considered by many among the WWE Universe as one of sports-entertainment’s greatest themes. In addition to performing on several of WWE’s biggest stages, including WrestleMania XIV and SummerSlam 1998, the “DX Band” singer collaborated with WWE composer Jim Johnston on Sean “X-Pac” Waltman’s entrance theme “Make Some Noise,” and provided the vocals to Triple H’s solo theme, “My Time.”

WWE extends its deepest condolences to Warren’s family, friends and fans.

For a moment I thought he was Uncle Kracker. Thank god he ain't dead. He's a true talent and his Xpac theme was way better than this Christopher Robin guy. But anyway LOL, I mean RIP

Well, it appears that I'm a part of the small few that was surprised when they found out that he died. :-\

Such a good theme.

I'd say it's my favourite Triple H theme.

More importantly however, does anybody know who is sleeping with who?

Damn, just realized that a lot of Trips' singles themes and those of factions he led (DX, Evolution) were done by two great guys who have been taken too soon from us all...the other of course, being Lemmy from Motörhead.
Also,

I know that theme probably brings back a lot of great memories of the team that helped kick the Monday Night Wars into high gear almost 20 years ago now.

To be fair, you constantly posted RIP threads of wrestlers no one heard about besides you and Gertner.
