To continue the Brand split theme of threads lets see what TPWW thinks the best set up for WWE is going forward would be.

Backlash coming back is a good thing, but it feels odd at that point in the year. I'd rather see it in April. Roadblock and No Way Out should be the February PPVs. No Mercy coming back is a good thing. Wish they'd get rid of Hell in a Cell, TLC, Night of Champions and Extreme Rules. Armageddon and Starrcade can be the December PPVs. Vengeance can return to be opposite Backlash in April/May. Payback can be stay in there. You can bring back Over the Limit or something. July can have The Great American Bash or Bash at the Beach and Battleground.

January: Royal Rumble
February: Roadblock, No Way Out
March/April: WrestleMania
April: Backlash, Payback
May: Vengeance, Over the Limit
June: Money in the Bank
July: Bash at the Beach, Battleground
August: SummerSlam
September: Unforgiven, Fall Brawl
October: No Mercy, Halloween Havoc (if they can get the license)
November: Survivor Series
December: Starrcade, Armageddon

I'd like to see the PPVs for the two shows have similar themes. Like Fastlane and Roadblock and Payback and Backlash being together. Would also like to see Bragging Rights return as a stand alone event at the end of the year with all three brands coming together before the new year starts. Would also like to see King of the Ring return and be the same month as Money in the Bank, would have them alternate every year so Raw gets KotR one year and MitB the next.

January: Royal Rumble
February: Roadblock, Fastlane
March/April: WrestleMania
April: Backlash, Payback
May: Vengeance, Judgement Day
June: Money in the Bank, King of the Ring (alternate every year)
July: Bash at the Beach, Great American Bash
August: SummerSlam
September: Night of Champions, Clash of Champions
October: No Mercy, Halloween Havoc
November: Survivor Series
December: Bragging Rights (all three brands)

For copy and paste pleasures I'll leave the big 4 in but you can change them up as much as you want. If you want Wrestlemania at the end of the year go ahead.

January: Royal Rumble
February:
March/April: Wrestlemania
April:
May:
June:
July:
August: Summerslam
September:
October:
November: Survivor Series
December:

Backlash and Payback, sounds like they're trying to eat their cake and have it too.

Let them eat DrA. But would you also let them have you? That's the big question.

I don't really have much to add. I did like Armageddon as a December PPV, but I feel that Starrcade would have a "bigger" feel to it. That's why I think those two should close out the year. Roadblock is allegedly moving to December. I guess the thinking there is that it's the last stop before the Road to WrestleMania, but I think it works better as a February PPV. I just associate Backlash with April. It should be there. Unforgiven can follow SummerSlam -- it's basically got the same sort of vibe.

I don't really like Night of Champions or Clash of Champions as a PPV in 2016 and onwards. With 7+ match slots and only maybe four or five championships per brand, it doesn't really make sense to have "every title is defended" shows. I guess you could run Night of Champions specials on WWE Network that featured just four title matches per brand (maybe five if they institute a Cruiserweight Title or Titles on one or both of the shows). Give it a prestigious feel and do hype videos for each championship beforehand. I hate the "not every match is a title match" thing they do these days. Then why not call it WWE Banana Hammock Havoc for crying out loud?

Hell in a Cell and TLC need to go as PPV themes too. That's where you can easily slip No Mercy and Armageddon and no one will blink an eye.

I kinda glanced over it but if that pic doesn't say Backlash is on the 15th Anniversary of 9/11, I'll eat my favorite freaking WWE hat.

Seriously, what? They couldn't choose the 4th? I wonder how that choice of date will, if at all, affect buyrates.

Who gives a fuck? It's just a date. It's not a national holiday. Even if it was. They'd probably still have the ppv on it. They had Smackdown 2 days after 9/11. They don't fucking care.
