...are we looking at the return of the big gold belt or a brand new second world championship which will be exclusive to either RAW or Smackdown.

I think the WWE Championship needs to represent the entire company and have the champ on both brands like in the original Brand Extension days.

Each brand doesn't need a champion WWE did fine with out a world champ for 6 months when Brock was champ. Smackdown or Raw will be fine 2.

What if both brands do have seperate World Championships, but the WWE go down the same route they did with the Women's Championship and have it just look like the WWE Championship but a different colour, so instead of red, it's blue?

It doesn’t matter how they look like, it matters how they are booked, and while when the split was first in effect both titles we on a even playing field near the end the WWE title was way more prestigious than the WHC even with the brand spilt.

Also I dislike there being 2 titles because it pads how many championship reigns an individual will have.

I would like to see just one World Champion that would appear on both brands, with the rules being that when the champion loses the title, they would have to remain on the brand of who defeated them.

Even though the rumors are teasing at another main belt, would rather they stick to just having the WWE title.

Big problem last time was the WWE doing a horrible job of making both the World and WWE belts be equal in status and the prestige getting watered down because of too many guys not ready to be World/WWE champs.

Wouldn't be surprised if the MitB case also gets split into two cases so each brand has one like last time.

I'd like to see the WWE WHC, the WWE Womens, and WWE World Tag Team championships to be on both shows. I'd redesign the Tag titles to look like the WWE and Womens belts. The IC would be on Raw and the US title would be redesigned to its classic look and be on Smackdown. Bring back the Cruiserweight title for Smackdown and the European title for Raw.

Actually think this would be cool look for the new Tag Team titles. Put Tag Team Champions on it and the red and blue represents that the champions are on both shows.

The more I think about it, the more I think two World Championships is stupid if they are going to be sanctioned by one company. It makes sense for booking reasons, but that is why the draft is fucking stupid.

What should they do? One World Champion floating between shows. What will they do? Bring back the World Heavyweight Championship and act like nothing ever happened on the unification front, even though a new belt would be less tainted at this point.

They could have just had Seth Rollins return as the lineal champion to SmackDown when he came back, but that would have required some sort of foresight.

Always torn on this issue. I would like them to have just 1 World Champ because otherwise you get "world champs" like Swaggie and Khali, plus you'd have to have the champ on one show to run a feud which would leave the other without a world champ for a prolonged period of time. On the other hand, it does give some guys a chance at a title run who otherwise might not be given one. Always thought the big gold belt looked great on Ziggler for the brief time he had it.

It's kind of a no-win no-lose situation but it can work with two titles as long as you stick to keeping the shows a seperate product so that each title means something kinda different.

If done correctly, the IC and US belt would have enough prestige and importance to cover the times when a certain brand doesn't have the WWE title as the top feud.

Would mean treating both belts more like the classic IC belt in the sense of being the real workhorse belts and legit stepping stones for stars to reach the next level. Problem is the WWE has shown plenty of times before if its not involving Cena or requires dedicate long term planning, they lose interest very quickly.

I like more titles as well but would like the WWE, Womens, and Tag Titles to float. I'd you want to get crazy.....

That would be three main titles and three titles for each show.

You can basically divide any of the World Title runs in the two World Title era to work out the true number of reigns a guy has had. In the case of an odd number, round down. For example, John Cena has won 14 Brand Split Era titles and one Undisputed Championship. This would make him an 8-time World Champion, which is very impressive. Randy Orton has won one Undisputed Title, so from his 12 World Titles, that means he has had six World Title reigns. Again, very impressive.

Big Show is a 3-time champion, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan have 2, Dolph Ziggler has 1 and Jack Swagger doesn't qualify.
