Lesnar needs to fight a real American. Someone who would fight for the rights of everyman.

Nakamura, Joe, or Kevin Owens are about the only ones I really want to see but there are plenty others like Balor and Rusev that could be entertaining.

Lesnar should fight that Miniak chick. She'd sit on him.
yeah but who legit comes across as a threat to him
need someone who can beat Brock, like believably give him an ass kicking...non of the above could

I think Samoa Joe and Nakamura would come off as legit threats to Brock. Given how they like to hotshot NXT call ups over established guys one of them could actually beat him.
but Joe is like 4'2" and Shinsuke, my hero, is under 250 lbs.

So what, this isn't UFC where they need to weigh the same. Nakamura and Brock have wrestled before in Japan with Brock winning. Joe's a bad ass and is a legit threat to anyone. Nakamura kind of in the same boat only a smooth bad ass.
need 2 google that match asap

For freshness, Joe or Owens would be a potentially amazing match especially if its billed as a "beast vs beast" type match. If they wanted a big underdog type story, Sami Zayn could work out.
Wouldn't be surprised if he wrestles Reigns again since WWE never got to use Lesnar's streaking killing rub on him. Technically Taker took it back after beating Lesnar in the rematch but he still has enough aurora left to make someone a huge star if done correctly.

lol Still can't believe they ended the streak just so Taker could get his win back. Insane.
K, need this rematch to happen and for my lord Shinsuke to defeat the Lesnar virus

Lesnar's last match in the WWE, whenever that may be, should be in putting over Roman Reigns or Kevin (or whoever the WWE decides will be their 'alpha' leader in the new generation).

Sami Zayn at Survivor Series as the underdog that fails after valiant effort. Have Zayn get a couple of near falls and "go the distance" before losing. Then have Brock return in the Royal Rumble only to be eliminated by Kevin Owens which sets up a 'Mania match between the Prizefighter vs The Beast with Owens being the man to beat Lesnar.

Or, have Shane sign Samao Joe to Smackdown and use his new signing to get revenge on Lesnar after being attacked at the end of Summerslam.

The only guy that could lend to a legit, "big match" feel would be The Rock, mainly because of hype and because he is FUCKING MASSIVE and looks like he could kick anyone's ass, whether they're trained MMA fighters or not.
However, this is The Rock, and the last thing a leading actor is gonna do is get in the ring with Brock freakin' Lesnar.
Part of me thinks Lesnar vs Rock would be cool because it would feel big
The other part of me isn't interested because Brock would have to play it very safe compared to his usual matches (not saying he works unsafe, saying he hits hard/stiff from what I can tell).

Joe isn't on par with Brock. Feel like Brock would destroy both world champions in a 2v1 handicap match atm.

And for those saying Shinsuke/Lesnar, yeah that would be dope, but I have a feeling Shinsuke's gonna get Triple H.

They already have a name imo. The only thing last night did was make him look unstoppable and brutal. They want him to keep being built for someone.
I think they will go all the way with him and he will destroy the Rumble. So, whoever is champion come Mania

Joe/Lesnar has got to happen.
A reputed badass vs a once-in-a-lifetime athlete. Have them go to war in a big fight series of three with Joe coming out on top. Nothing like that one-sided Cena ass whipping, though. Have them to to the limit each time. Neither one respecting the other as a person, but having to begrudgingly give eachother their due as a competitor when all is said and done. It would cement Joe as legit and repair the problem they have in "who could actually take out Lesnar without it looking like utter horseshit".
Lesnar is already a draw, and will be big fight material anytime he shows up. Letting Joe be the conquerer of The Conquerer would raise all sort of stock in having a full-time badass around. Then, keep him away from the title (kayfabe), which is his bread and butter; the legitimate definition of a guy who snapps and actually is a badass submission machine. Every company "kept him down" and "disrepected" his championship reign, so it would make sense to have it happen again on the main roster. Doesn't have to win a championship overnight, but should be made to look like he could.

I think Joe is money. Thinking about it, I'd like to see Joe beat Brock at 'Mania and become a special attraction (although more frequent than Lesnar). I think part of Brock's appeal other than being a monster is whenever he's around it feels like a big deal and I think that could be a role that'd suit Joe.
In the short term once he's finished with ashram us I'd also like a scenario of Cesaro stepping up to face Brock after the rest of the roster refuses to face him. Of course, Cesaro would lose but it'd give him great exposure and he'd get a chance to show off his strength. Could do him wonders if booked well.

They need another "Big Attraction".
I love watching the shows I really do but the sheer hours of wrestling takes away from the the specialness of some of their talent.
Part of what made Hogan big, initially, was the fact that you did not see him wrestle every week or even every month. Sure he might of cut a promo but he wasn't in the ring. It made a difference.

Yeah, like I said earlier, the only two guys that will draw reasonably well for Lesnar are Reigns and properly built Owens.
One of these guys will ultimately go over Lesnar.

@slik: Brock v. Rock already happened. SummerSlam 2002, for the Undisputed WWE Championship, which Brock won, a month after Rock had defeated Kurt Angle and Undertaker in a triple threat match at Vengeance 2002.
That was 4ever ago...half the board was like 8 years old when that happened

Why not Rollins? Rollins has to be the guy who goes over Brock clean. Preferably with the Curb Stomp.
They've clearly set it up for him to come out against Stroman instead of some clown getting smashed

Brock vs. Shane is probably going to happen. I think Brock vs. AJ would have the right dynamic. Brock vs. Joe could happen down the line, but I want to see Joe have more behind him first. Brock vs. Nakamura might happen sometime next year. Like SummerSlam or something. Brock vs. Reigns has a legitimate charisma to it.
Brock vs Shane is dumb. If they really want to put someone over, build a Brock vs Big Cass program.
Mr. Nerfect
08-23-2016, 07:28 PM
The idea of Brock vs. Shane is not going to be to put Shane over. It will be to have Brock kill someone that is, sadly, actually over.

Brock destroying Enzo to trigger a Big Cass face push would be pretty amazing though.

Ambrose wanted to try a whole bunch of different things to make the match special, but Brock shut down everything. He just wanted to throw some suplexes and go home.

It was sarcasm.
Have Shane bring Joe up to the SDL roster in the next month or so, before Shane takes a backseat allowing Bryan to run the show.
Joe can run through the midcard, couple of feuds on the way, strong IC Title reign, a really strong showing in the Rumble and Joe starts to push for a WWE World Championship Match. It looks like Bryan is about to grant him the shot..."Here comes the moneeeeeyyyyyy".
Shane interrupts, says Joe has had an incredible run since debuting 6 months ago but before he can get that title shot Joe owes Shane a favour. And that's it until Joe appears out of the blue to challenge Lesnar for Mania.
You can compare Joe's first 6 months on the main roster to Lesnar's initial run in 2002, and the way they've both torn through the competition. I think you'd get a really strong product out of a really bitter, physical build leading into a hard-hitting climax at Mania. And if you wanted to go "all-in" with Joe you have him eke out a hard-fought win.

Mr. Nerfect
09-01-2016, 05:20 AM
Dave's a cool guy, but he seems rather pissed off with WWE at the moment. I could imagine him holding up the WWE for a lot of money to have him lie down for Brock, which he really doesn't need at this point. You could put Dave over Brock, but then what do you do with either guy?
Mr. Nerfect
09-01-2016, 05:20 AM
Would rather see Big Dave as another of Heyman's clients and part of a super-team with Lesnar. Not one where they team with each other, but one where they are just dominant guys that give 10% of their cut to Paul Heyman.
