Wrestling Inc. reader Jake Murray recently sent us an email noting that CM Punk and Colt Cabana no longer follow each other on Twitter. I didn't think too much of it, however apparently there is more to it. MMA insider Front Row Brian, who has broken many MMA stories in the past, noted today that Punk is apparently upset with Cabana for going backstage at an episode of Monday Night RAW. As noted, WWE's Dr. Chris Amann filed a lawsuit in February of 2015 against Punk and Cabana due to comments made on Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast in 2014. Amann claims that his reputation has suffered as a result of the comments made by Punk and is seeking more than $1 million in compensatory damages as well as an undetermined amount of punitive damages. Punk apparently felt that Cabana going to the WWE event hurts his defense against Amann.

Also, Hornswoggle recently revealed that CM Punk stopped talking to him because Hornswoggle had asked him for a mutual friend's phone number. Hornswoggle said that it was for someone that Punk is best friends with until this day, and Punk thought that Hornswoggle was using him, even though they had "rode together for years."

Hornswoggle also talked about first meeting The Rock, and The Rock thinking that he was a Make-A-Wish kid on the first night that he returned to be revealed as the host of WrestleMania 27. "I was very excited to meet The Rock, obviously he's one of the biggest stars in entertainment and wrestling," Hornswoggle said. He said that he wore a suit jacket and had his bag and waited for Rock in Gorilla. The Rock then came back, patted Hornswoggle on the back and asked, "did you have a good time tonight, buddy?" Then Rock walked off and realized it, and said to Big Show, 'Hornswoggle thinks I thought he was a Make a Wish kid, and I did think he was.'"

Completely Miserable Punk.

Needs to be concerned with his massacre coming up.

Maybe he thought dropping Colt Cabana would help him lose the 20 lbs he needs to lose in the next 7 days in order to make weight for his fight.

I get the sense that CM Punk will end up being more secluded from society than Brock Lesnar before all is said and done.

From what I've read, the source himself has a lot of credibility issues since he's been wrong a lot in the past for stories.

Possible those two don't hang out as much now due to Punk's UFC stuff but if its true, pretty dumb thing Colt did considering the circumstances.

I don't really care about this lawsuit or who's right or wrong or whatever.

But fuck, it always irks me when I read about someone demanding millions and millions due to their "reputation being damaged".

How is it dumb, though? Should Colt not be able to hang out backstage at Raw? He was probably just visiting friends. Did he take pictures with the doctor or even speak to him? Just because Punk broke the news on Colt's show, I don't see how that should keep Colt away. Is there something I'm missing here?

I'd imagine if it's just based on Cabana being present, then it's because Punk alleged an unsafe or dangerous environment and by appearing there, Cabana, as Punk's close friend whom he spoke with at length about WWE's enivornment, could substantially hurt this allegation. In addition, where they wouldn't be able to without Cabana speaking with them, anyone in WWE whom Cabana spoke with can be called to counter or dispute any of Caban's claims or testimony regarding the environment of WWE.

I thought he meant that WORKING there was unsafe or dangerous. Not the catering.

Well Cabana is also a Defendant in the suit. Why go to the place that is funding a lawsuit of one of their employees against you and your friend?

Why? The reputation of doctors, lawyers, executives, entertainers, celebrities, athletes, politicians, etc. have substantial monetary value because of the impact their reputations have on their careers and earnings.

Why would DX show up at Nitro? Because suck it, that's why. Anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation.

IF Punk's alleging the working environment is unsafe, that includes any part or the environment, including functions or procedures that are typically used or utilized by employees, such as catering in this case. It's the environment as a whole that's unsafe or harmful to employees or anyone else present, not the act of working there that's dangerous in itself. I.e., Working in the ring may be safe but catering may be dangerous because of employees fighting over food, or slipping and falling on spilled food or, as in this case, employees, including doctors, allegedly not examining and treating a patient within the legal standard of care they're required to.

From Punk's point of view as well as anyone on his legal team, what good could come of Colt visiting? Would be best to stay away until it goes through litigation.

Absolutely right. Not a damn thing good can happen from a legal perspective. Obviously, Cabana may simply not care. It's just stupid to have any actual interaction or communication between the parties, or even risk any potential for it to occur or be alleged to have occurred. Everything should be done through each party's attorneys.

Huge swerve incoming when Colt drops out of the suit and agrees to testify on behalf of WWE.

WWE lawyer: "If the working conditions are so bad, why did this man return to said environment? He even talked to (so and so) and was offered a position with the company."

1) Love how "not following eachother on twitter anymore" automatically equates to "ZOMG, NUCLEAR HEAT! SO MUCH HATE!!,1!"

2) Everyone here missed a layup with an "in the doghouse" joke. How disappointing.
