So, for this week's podcast we're taking a look at the infamous "Sleaze Thread", a list of questionable tales from inside the world of wrestling put together on the DVDVR message board over a decade ago that attracted a lot of attention, and we'll be speculating on some of the "urban legends" mentioned with an extra ten years of knowledge, debating their validity.

Our question for you is - which of these elaborate (and sometimes absurd) tales was/is your favourite and why? Do you think said rumour is true? Why do you think it is or isn't? And does one stand out to you in particular as worthy of debate?

As always the best contributions will be read on the show and you'll be credited accordingly. So which of these urban legends was the one that amused or shocked you enough to make it your favourite, and why?

EDIT - Our show discussing Wrestling Urban Legends and the Sleaze Thread, featuring many of your contributions, is now online and available to listen to at the following link: http://squaredcirclegazette.podbean.com/mf/web/nds8ee/SCG_Radio_98_-_Wrestling_Urban_Legends_and_The_Sleaze_Thread.mp3

Bradshaw allegedly gets in the shower with new guys and soaps them up. Supposedly he was doing this kind of shit to Paul London a lot. This shit gave me nightmares.

A bit over a year ago someone in a locker room asked Jimmy Valiant about the table shitting hooker with the Rock n Rolls walking in.

"Jimmy stood up got a mad look on his face then said "BROTHER I AM TIRED OF ALL THESES LIES AND HALF TRUTHS ABOUT ME ON THE INTERNET!... I was the Midnights that walked in."

So call that one maybe confirmed?

Also asked Jamie Dundee about the Memphis guys getting paid with food stamps rumor. "Hell Lawler fired me when I asked him to sign the form so I could get food stamps. You got paid in cash."

One that stands out to me is the one about Dusty Rhodes booking Rick Steiner to beat Ric Flair in 20 seconds. Doesn't seem too smutty, unless the word "off" was accidentally omitted.

Jimmy Snuka murdering people and Vince possibly helping to cover it up. Would you put it past Vince? That's about as dark as wrestling goes...*reads about Hogan vs. Zeus supposedly scheduled to headline WrestleMania 6* We'll call it a wash.

I know Shawn Michaels is a great worker, but when he got the three girls to hotel room, proceeded to whip out his dick and piss in each of their mouths, do you think they were feeding too much for him?

When it comes to Sunny, do you think she let Michinoku drive her?

Jushin Liger also apparently watches Taka fuck. Maybe he should have had the Val Venis gimmick?

Liger apparently has one of the most pock-marked faces you'll ever see -- maybe he caught something off Sunny by way of Taka splash-back?

"54. Either Brian Pillman and Tom Zenk were about to double team Terri Runnels(likely) or they were about to get it on themselves (less likely)."

What I like about this one is the assessment of "likely" and "less likely" as probabilities. If Pillman and Zenk double-teaming Terri was "likely," what do you think "likely" stopped them?

"62. According to a referee who was released from the WWF, Bradshaw tied up a wrestler in the shower while he was naked and rubbed baby oil all over him threatening to rape him until he cried while the lockerroom looked on and laughed. I think the victim might have date-raped a girl, or may have just not been well-liked. It was never specified who the victim was other than this happened in like '98 or '99 and the guy was a fairly well known wrestler, I also heard it might have been Brian Christopher aka Grandmaster Sexay."

The guy was either a fairly well known wrestler...or Grand Master Sexay.

Antonio Pena turned half the AAA roster gay? He must be a very charismatic man. When he was a luchador, do you think he was a good base for guys?

"93. El Dandy was caught by Fishman when he was banging his daughter (I think she was a minor), and he no-showed several shows where the two were booked together because Fish threatened to kick his ass. When heat died down, El Dandy repaid him by also fucking his wife."

Who are you to doubt El Dandy?

"144. New Jack once got liquored-up at a strip club after an indy show and talked shit to Swede Hanson in the parking lot."

I know this was a while ago, but New Jack being so tame would be a cause for concern in regards to his health.

"446. Chris Benoit invented the triple German suplex back in the 80s; Steve Strong was the Trans-Canadian Heavyweight Champion, but was a real dick about it backstage, so one day before a match with Benoit, Beef Wellington jacked off all over the back of the belt before he put it on. Once the match began, Strong's belly was so sticky that Benoit couldn't get his arms off of it until after the third suplex."

Beef Wellington's semen is apparently ACME super-glue. If he jizzed on Rob Van Dam's belly, do you think RVD would have hit the Five Star Frog Splash without flopping around for a minute afterwards? If only he was still around, he could have lended some to Dolph Ziggler, to stop him bouncing around so fucking much. Beef Wellington's sperm could have prevented Dolph Ziggler from going into Room 101.

In a bizarre note, Chris Benoit and Beef Wellington would die on the same day.
