One night after Roman Reigns captured the United States Championship in a brutal battle with Rusev at WWE Clash of Champions, The Super Athlete is invoking his rematch clause. This must-see match will kick off Raw at 8/7 C on USA Network.

Meanwhile, as captured by WWE.com cameras after the show, Stephanie left Indianapolis’ Bankers Life Fieldhouse in a limo with Triple H, who was eager to discuss how Raw’s first exclusive pay-per-view went. Was hoping he or Sheamus would lay the other out and allow the jobber team to get a win. That'd add more to their feud.

Ah well. Either way, their match yesterday was fucking brilliant and they both are currently bringing out the best in each other. Just hope it doesn't turn into a generic "hey we actually work well together let's be a team" scenario.

• A match opened Raw this week? Has science gone too far?

But really, I was actually surprised to see a match kicking off Raw. The US Title looks like a toy when Reigns holds it, it's weird. But I am actually happy that he retained as it means Rusev can now move on and hopefully chase the Universal Championship.

• So Cesaro & Sheamus are now chasing the Tag Team Championships. What a pile of shit. I was really hoping this wouldn't happen and instead they would both be offered a future US Title match which would be a Triple Threat Match, but no, we get the good ol' "These guys hate each other but are a tag team! How crazy is that!?" storyline.

Having Cesaro & Sheamus chase the Tag Team Titles just completely shits all over their Best of Seven Series. It renders it completely pointless. I get the feeling now that they'll go ahead and win the titles because the WWE just loves having two singles competitors be randomly thrown together and then becoming champions at the expense of an actual established Tag Team.

Also, it seems to have completely changed Cesaro and Sheamus, as they've both went from serious professionals who despise each other and have had great matches to showcase their dominance over one another, to two guys who act like children who show off in front of new people and fight for their cheers and attention.

It wouldn't be all that bad if this was a comedy team like Team Hell No was, but it's not, but maybe it will evolve into one sometime down the line? If it doesn't and they win the titles from The New Day, I can see this being what turns Cesaro heel.

• Speaking of The New Day, I had a feeling that they would lose their titles to Gallows & Anderson as it was day 400 of The New Day's reign as Tag Team ChampiHOLY SHIT Kofi is dead!

I feel that Kofi may have cut himself on the rim of the handle of the steps when he was thrown into them. I applaud him though for continuing the match like a champion even though he had Niagara Falls shooting out of his head.

• I'm still not sold on the Cruiserweight Division yet. I know it's not an important thing, but the fact that there is purple everywhere during Cruiserweight matches is just getting to me.

As the ring changes so much for these matches, it gives me the feeling that we can now look forward to 5-10 minute backstage promos or vignettes before every Cruiserweight match now, as this happened both last night and when the purple ropes and turnbuckle covers debuted on Sunday, so I can only assume that 5-10 minute backstage promos/vignettes will be a regular occurrence before Cruiserweight matches, as it gives time for the ring to be changed.

So far, the only positive I can take from the return of the Cruiserweight Division is that Brian Kendrick is back and is chasing a title. I was intrigued by Lince Dorado though, but I thought it was weird that he was introduced as being from Camden, New Jersey then fifteen second later he says he's from Bayamón, Puerto Rico.

But other than that, I'm still not completely sold. When I watch the Cruiserweight matches, I don't feel like I'm watching the WWE. I feel like I'm watching some indy guys in a WWE ring, or like I'm watching ROH. It's weird.

• I'm at the point now where I'd like Foley to go away. It seems like every week he tells a story from his past or yells in the face of someone. I'm still standing by my claims though that Foley will either quit or be fired and then Triple H will take his place as General Manager.

Agree with you on the cruiserweight division. I dont really understand why everything is purple either. I get that was the color for the CWC but tjis is Raw and it just makes the divion look like a joke. Does feel like an ROH segment on Raw though.

I am genuinely surprised that Chris Masters has not been brought back to the WWE. When we first saw him, the dude had three years experience. He's now been doing this four fourteen. He still looks tremendous, and if he can maintain a decent physique off the gas (or fuck it, let him do it -- they do others) then I don't see why you wouldn't at least give him a shot. He was starting to get really good even under the WWE umbrella.

If there were a WCW-level alternative to the WWE, Masters would be tearing it up there. I'm going to start calling him Masterpiece Nese, by the way.

The Revival should be the team to win the WWE Tag Team Championship off The New Day. This run has enough perceived momentum behind it to allow the WWE to give The Revival some cred right out the gate. "No skits, just fists."

I'm usually against NXT guys getting title shots after call ups but New Day has ran through the tag division so much that someone new like The Revival beating them would be ok I guess.
