The September 26th 2016 edition of RAW did 2.478 million viewers overall. This is down from last week's 2.684 million viewers. This week's RAW had both football competition as well as competition from the first Presidential debate during the 2nd and 3rd hours. The debate averaged 80.9 million viewers across the 12 networks that aired it.

Below is the hourly breakdown:

8PM: 2.850 million viewers
9PM: 2.381 million viewers
10PM: 2.203 million viewers

They lost 200,000 viewers to the POTUS debate.

80.9 million people? Surprised that half of them didn't commit suicide after. Watched 5 minutes and couldn't stand it.

I watched the debate. I would take it over Rusev vs Reigns or another Sheamus/Cesaro match. I read that RAW sucked anyways,.

Just have no interest in this election. Like I don't even feel like it is real. How in the hell do these two people of all people become the top choices to be president. Makes me unproud to be American.

Thought Raw was ok. I don't really care about anything on Raw though. Reigns as US champion is dumb. The Cruiserweight division isn't going to be anything but I was shocked that CM Punk chants started during TJPs match. Hate that they change everything to purple just for them as well. Was only interested in Gallows and Anderson and Kevin Owens for Raw after the draft and they have made Gallows and Anderson a joke. New Day are good but they have done more harm to the tag division than good. Owens as the Universal Champion is alright but they did the thing with HHH and have yet to follow up on it. Yeah they are teasing the Foley/Steph thing but nothing had been said about why HHH did what he did. Raw has not helped themselves any since football season started.

I watched clips on WWE's YT page and it felt much easier than watching the actual show. I might do that next week or just catch the 90 min. version on Hulu, I hear those are good because all the crap is cut out from the show.

Figured this week would have been the best chance for them to hit TNA levels for ratings but guess not in the end.

Surprised the 1st hour was that high considering it felt really bad. Mostly was just a long Reigns-Rusev match with no real ending and the Best of 7 series feeling like a huge waste.

Are wrestling fans in the basket of deplorables? You'd certainly assume so, but I feel like wrestling has gotten more progressive over the years.

Lowest raw ever was 1.8 right? do we have a new record?

Yes according to the Observer and think that is including holiday episodes.

In a number that you can basically throw out as not being indicative of much of anything, WWE Raw did set its all-time low mark last night doing 2.46 million viewers.

The rating itself, not yet in, is a virtual certainty to be the lowest in the history of the show, and lowest for any WWE wrestling television show ever on Monday night dating back to the Prime Time Wrestling era.

Wouldn't be surprised if they hit it again or even a couple more times by the end of the year considering the downward trends for RAW.

Seriously are we comparing raw vs a President debate . It's plain as day the debate would get more as that has more people's interest than a rasslin show

Soon TNA will be buying Raw.

No, we're comparing RAW to itself.

It'll be interesting to see if/how things rebound next week. Will people feel refreshed having not watched for two weeks, or will they realize they didn't miss the product and go out and smell some flowers or something?

Does TNA still get like 1.0 ratings... I remember it used to consistently get around that back in the day

Ooh, I think it's much lower now. Like a 0.2 on a really good night?

I don't know if you're aware of what happened, but this woman named Dixie Carter was running things. She's apparently a really nice lady, but was totally naive (there's a story that she actually fired a manager because he was getting booed, but instead of realizing he was doing his job correctly, she assumed he must have been a genuinely bad man) and got into bed (not literally) with Vince Russo.

The stuff that TNA was doing REALLY well (the women, well-built main events with wrestlers the crowds were invested in), Russo got his hands on and changed. The women went from being the best draw they had to being your expected tits and ass. He'd come and go through the company, but eventually Spike TV -- who had helped cover the contracts of some of the more expensive talent -- was like "You haven't grown this at all" and Dixie Carter was like "You're stupid" so they basically dropped them.

TNA then went to this place called Destination America, who seemed to be fully behind TNA, until they worked out who they were dealing with. Dixie Carter actually sent emails bashing the heads at the network *to* the heads at the network by mistake. I can't remember if it was this relationship or the Spike TV that was completely ruined by Vince Russo too. Well, they both have been to some extent. But a hilarious develop was uncovered when one of the networks begged TNA to stop using him for their creative, so TNA said they stopped -- but then kept secretly using him.

Now they are on a network called POP TV which isn't in too many homes in the first place.

TBF, you add a little salt and pepper and a dab of butter and you've got yourself some mighty delicious green beans.

Pop is actually in more homes than Destination America. It just been rebranded so much people really don't know its there. Used to be the TV Guide Channel so its in a lot of homes.

Why do you have to act like a child like that? He's just trying to correct the misinformation you continue to write down. I get that we can all skip over what we don't want to read, with that said you don't have to comment on everything, especially if you don't really know the full story, and even more especially if you're just gonna act like a smarmy prick when someone tries to correct you.

With that said, hopefully WWE buys it. It will suck for the people that lose jobs, but if they put the TNA archives on the WWE network these guys will have more exposure than ever before.

I never said that POP is in less homes than Destination America in the first place. Fan did add relevant information, but it doesn't correct anything I said in my post. Your criticisms of me seem to be filled with their own misinformation -- or at least an aversion to reading comprehension. You are also projecting a lot of personality traits onto me. I like Fan. I give him shit about TNA and he gives it to me back. I'm sorry if our online dialogue upsets you. Maybe you could try skimming and not reading it next time? Your obsession with me is flattering though.
