Meaning that you can't buy them from the makers anymore. Why do they do this? Our boy got the series of Mosley from Ebay because Channel 4 (UK channel) stopped making them.

I'm sure there's obvious reasons why they stop production but why do they do it, especially to popular things?

Tales From the Crypt is never gonna be released by stupid HBO. But it's OK, since I have every episode on DVD on bootleg.

Haven't they stopped producing Twin Peaks, or am I lying through my teeth?

Beauty and the Beast was deleted by Disney :(

Its to make room for newer titles they said, although I cant see who that would work for a tv series

I didn't even know they released that on DVD.

They stop producing them because there is not enough of a demand, I dunno. Or it costs too much money to produce them, or something. Who knows. :(

It goes back to the Disney "Vault" for apparently 10-15 years, then they rerelease them for the newer generation...

One movie I wish I had on DVD is the Mr. Bean movie... Im a huge Mr. Bean fan and have the whole DVD set, but they stopped making the DVD in 98-99 I believe, and I cant find it anywhere... Not even on EBay :( And when I DO find it, it's region 2... I seriously hope that they rerelease it so I, and others, can complete the Bean collection... (I dont know about the animated series, I may get that, I dunno)

I bought it when it was in the double pack, so I have both Toy Story 1 and 2 in one set, two dvds... Great buy for $30 (Instead of paying $20-$25 each)...
