Undertaker will appear on SmackDown's 900th episode on November 15th. It is speculated this will either start a WM program for him, be where he announces his retirement as a competitor or just makes a random one-off appearance. The Deadman has been off WWE TV since WrestleMania 32, where he defeated Shane McMahon inside Hell In a Cell, forcing Shane to leave WWE until Vince got upset Shane was upstaging him the following night.

This is random, but i would love for him to challenge Diggler for the IC title.

Gonna be awkward

Hate to agree with Cynick's line of thought but that article is awful. The speculation covers all bases.

That paragraph basically says "he will do one of the only 3 realistic possibilities."

Grade A journalism

Is death a possibility?

Has Undertaker ever held the IC title?

Didn't you ask him that when you interviewed him?

Has Undertaker ever held the IC title?

No, it's the only title he needs to get the Triple Crown and be a Grand Slam Champion.

Has Taken ever been U.S. Champ?

Has Taker ever been the Cruiserweight champ?

Honestly, I'd like to see Taker put over Luke Harper.

*looks at the number of posts where he fantasy books just that scenario.*

Ghost of Sean O'Haire (still haunting the cage over the ring): I'm not telling you anything you didn't already know.

Maybe to announce his retirement he will get undressed in the ring, put his gear into a trashcan, set the trashcan on fire and then put on a suit to signify he is entering 'the real world' and leaving wwe behind. Then Bray Wyatt can come out and 'absorb' Undertaker's power via the flaming trash can.

Maybe he'll come out and douse a referee with gas.

Of the options speculated, the one-off appearance makes the most sense. Maybe it could tie into something Mania related but doubt the WWE would really start it this early based on recent years of Taker Mania builds.

Feels like a big waste for him to actually retire on Smackdown even if its a milestone show and not at a bigger event like Mania or Raw After Mania show.

WWE numbers guy: "Vince. We just got the latest figures in on WWE2K17 sales. Not good."

Vince: "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN NOT GOOD?! I'M PAYING BILL GODDAMN GOLDBERG TO GET BACK IN THE RING WITH LESNAR AGAIN JUST TO SELL THE GAME!"

Numbers guy: "Well, maybe if we promoted the game more that just a match?"

Vince: "I AIN'T CALLING THE UNDERTAKER AGAIN! OLD BASTARD NEEDS CRUTCHES TO WALK!"

Numbers guy: "...........but he draws crowds and brings in money. He can #HYPETHE GAME"

*Vince dials on telephone*

Vince: "Mark. Vince. Do I have a deal for you......"

Really hope he starts a Mania program. A while ago I'd been clamoring for AJ Styles vs. Brock Lesnar at Mania... but maybe with the limited amount of time to do it AJ Styles vs. Undertaker is the way to go. If AJ beats Taker at Mania he's made for good. And who else but AJ could have a match with Taker the caliber of Shawn Michaels. As much as I wanted to see Taker vs. Cena maybe that ship has sailed.

I'd be fine with Undertaker vs. Randy Orton. I'd prefer Rusev or Luke Harper to his opponents though. I understand the logistics of putting Taker with Orton though, and Taker only wrestles who he wants to wrestle these days.

I would love an Undertaker vs Miz WrestleMania feud tbh.

Miz will throw a great story in there. No one believes I can do it. But that's why I don't want to see it. No one believes he can do it for a reason.
