Mustafa Ali's gear reminds me of a cross between The Hurricane and a Power Ranger.

Last thing the show needs is for the crowd to get quiet or lose interest considering they are already tired from Smackdown.

Wait this was taped yesterday before Raw apparently because they are taping "Tribute to the Troops" tonight

Yeup. Smackdown got put on almost an hour delay because the WWE is still taping the Tribute show now.
I H8 dabbing/think it is dumb/Donut 'get it'
STD going to have a hashtag meltdown b/c it's not LIVE but LIVE is in the name of the show

Not even the Cruiser division show is immune to WWE's bad habit of 50/50 booking.
Show itself was good this week.
Gets better every week. Ended after 45 minutes as well - good time frame for the show IMO. Plus Noam Dar/Alicia Fox advanced their storyline.

Feel like this should be merged with the SmackDown thread. Or 205 Live should get a dedicated thread like NXT.

We've gotten a few emails asking about this. 205 Live is being overseen by Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn directly, not Triple H. McMahon has been extremely hands on with the Cruiserweights in getting them to execute his vision. What we have seen the last three weeks is very much a Vince McMahon product, as opposed to WWE NXT, which Triple H has the last word on.
Like you can't tell by watching it.

Makes a lot of sense considering right after the CWC ended, reports about the WWE wanting to water it down for the main roster started to pop up. Vince's style of wrestling and the Cruiser style have rarely meshed well together for long periods of time over the years. Either Vince gets bored or tries to force it to fit into his style regardless of the consequences.
Only thing Triple H was really vocal about for changes was the rotation system for both health reasons and ensure they had something to do on the main roster and NXT.
